Great view in a comfortable cabin
Love staying in theses cabins. Close to Hayesville and Hiawassee and just far enough to feel out of town. Beautiful sunset view off the porch overlooking the lake. Wonderfully clean and comfortable.

A happy place

10 days just wasn’t enough
I booked this place for a quiet getaway to recharge. The home was clean, well supplied, check in and check out were seamless. The lake and mountain backdrop serve as an amazing view. Convenient to Helen, Franklin, Clayton and Cherokee for a quick outing. Once you visit you won’t want to leave!

Cute cabin!
The cabin was great. Clean and set up cute. Needs more silverware and some cooking pots/pans and the towels need to be replaced. The cabin is well maintained inside and out. Loved the deck with the view of the lake. Would rent again.

Wonderful stay
Very clean, well decorated. Responsive owner. Only negative was deck could have been a little cleaner and updated furniture and there were many spiders and webs. Grill was extremely dirty, therefore we didn't use it.

Nice little getaway. Was pleasantly surprised to see that we had a lake view from the back porch!… and a good sized grassy yard. Wouldn’t have known that from the photos on the listing. I took my 10 year old daughter, her cousin, and friend on a mini vacation. The lower level had the room with two beds,a bathroom with a bathtub/shower, a living room and a dining area. The girls loved it! They felt like the had their own apartment. The upstairs also had the master bedroom, bath (shower only, no bath tub) kitchen and livingroom. It was a 15 min drive to the local beach area that was nice. We also went to the inflatable water park that was 15 min away as well. It was a nice trip. We enjoyed the quiet area the cabin was in.

Surprisingly spacious and wonderful cabin.
I had a wonderful time at this surprisingly spacious and extremely comfortable cabin. Love you as beautiful as always, especially at sunset. Just the right distance from town to feel comfortably away, but also easily accessible to anywhere I want to be.

Perfect Getaway with a Great View

Perfect location with an amazing view!
This cottage far exceeded my expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was very clean with plenty of room. It’s within 15 minutes of the Hiawassee Fairgrounds where we were going for a concert. The amazing view of the lake was icing on the cake. Will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Wonderful Getaway location

We were so glad to find a cabin that was handicapped accessible. The main floor and inviting porch was perfect for our needs. The downstairs has its own suite and so much room. We definitely will be back!!!

Great Place!
Unfortunately the barbecue was not working properly & the smoke detector went off in the middle of the night needing the battery replaced. Other than that the place is Super cute, clean & well laid out. The view is lovely but there is no access to the lake in front of the property & you have to go a couple miles to get to the lake. This was disclosed in the listing so no surprise. Great hiking in the area!

The perfect location
The property is awesome! Great location and fit our group perfect. This was our 3rd booking! My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 on the overall rating is being charged $30 extra when I changed my booking from 5 to 7. The property accommodates 7, so the up charge was unexpected.

Thanks Gwen. We do disclose prior to booking our nightly rate is for 5 guests we do disclose its $5 per night/guests for the 6th 7th guest and we ask to disclose all guests at booking so you receive an accurate quote.

We loved all the space this property offers. We enjoyed renting a boat to explore the main feature of this area beautiful Lake Chatuge. Rib Country was a delicious bbq meal close by.

Lovely Lake Chatuge Getaway
My family decided to vacation in a part of the NC mountains that we had never been to and found this nice cabin getaway with a spectacular view of Lake Chatuge and the mountains! Everything was as described, along with a great binder with menus and pamphlets of things to do and places to see in the area. A nice bonus was the Ingles tag on the house key to help you save when grocery shopping :) We had a really bad thunderstorm one night of our stay that blew a transformer in town, which resulted in us losing all power - it was getting late, but I texted Audra to find out about flashlights or candles and she promptly responded to let me know where I could find them and to let me know that power is usually restored pretty quickly! I also want to add, that if you or someone you are traveling with has mobility issues, this cabin is a good choice - King Master, living and dining all on the first level and ample room to park right at the door for anyone using a wheelchair! We have already told friends and family about Audra's place!

Grand View Cottage is as Advertised
Grand view cottage is as advertised, very clean, comfortable & well equipped with a beautiful Lake Chatuge view. We very much enjoyed our 1 week stay here. While there were just the 2 of us, it’s perfect for 2 couples or a family. After arrival we had a couple questions the Host responded to very promptly. We will certainly consider staying here again when in the area.
