It is very clean and accommodating. Great location for going all places on the north end of the island and into Kona. Good walking in the neighborhood. Cooler at night and comfortable. It is peaceful, only had some road noise during the day. The hosts were very nice, good communication. They have a dog but we hardly heard it. We didn’t hear any chickens either. The owner is very kind and thoughtful, and put everything you need for a comfortable stay including books, chairs and daybed for reading, coffeemaker, microwave, toaster, kettle, chopping board and eating utensils. It overlooks treetops out of every direction so the vibe is very chill and peaceful BUT YOU MUST KNOW that the house is located on the road to Hawi so there is traffic sounds throughout the day. Most of the time it's the hum of cars that you tune out but occasionally you get the speeding car and big truck that disrupts the calm.
