Golf carts are available to rent in the village (message us for information about how to pre-book) and make getting to our local grocery store and fresh seafood restaurants a breeze. Enjoy watching the boats come in with their fresh catch of the day. At the end of the day, enjoy the large yard your beverage of choice and listen to the waves crash on the beach while the sun sets over the sound side. The studio apartment is accessible with only four steps and has a sleeping area, dining nook, one bathroom, and kitchen area. Southside 2 is full of art by local legend Glenn Dodenhoff. We hope you’ll feel at home and enjoy our relaxed way of life and southern hospitality. Your hosts live on the same property but in a separate building. The rental unit had what we needed. It is a tight knit family type multi rental complex with kids at play. The chickens were our friends by the last day. We missed seeing the little pond right next to the property. It would be interesting to have an access trail. The birds and deer were a nice surprise. Easy beach access across the street.
