The air-conditioned Bunkhouse is newly decorated with ranching antiques and consist of a main room with 1 California King size bed, a kitchenette with sink, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot with coffee provided (no stove or cooking utensils) and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. It sleeps 2 people and is about the size of a large hotel room. The private deck offers panoramic view across the ranch's pastures (where you will see cattle and horses during the summer), the Sevier River winding through the ranch, and the Hatch valley. A small, shared charcoal BBQ is available for your use outside (charcoal, matches, and lighter fluid not provided). High speed Internet service (free wifi) and a smart TV are available. The Ranch Hands Bunkhouse is located next to the Wranglers Quarters (also sleeps 2 in on California king bed), available for rent via a separate listing. Should you need even more space for your group, you may consider renting the main Ranch House which sleeps 6, The Barn which sleeps 3, or Tack Room or Farriers Quarters which sleep 4 each with full kitchens and are available via separate listings. You will enjoy a good night rest in eerie silence. If you're from the big city, it will take some getting used to! The property is equipped with state-of-the-art electronic locks so that guests can check themselves in at any time, and late check-in is not a problem. Guests can roam freely on the ranch as well as fish (with a Utah fishing license, that can be purchased online) and swim in the Sevier River. We are always available to answer any questions or give you tips for daytrips or restaurants. We speak English, only. Do not hesitate to reach out with any question, prior or during your trip. Whether you are looking to explore the natural wonders of the area (the Bunkhouse is located between 2 of the most visited National Parks in the country) or whether you're an animal lover (there are cattle and horses on the property during the summer, many deer roam the property, you can watch a large array of birds right from the deck, and we have the biggest animal shelter in the US only 45 minutes away), The Ranch Hands Bunkhouse is located on the Sevier River Ranch in Hatch, a small rural town of 200 people. Locals are very friendly and helpful, and you shouldn't hesitate to ask anyone for tips and recommendations. The Sevier River Ranch is very private on the edge of town. It sits on 280+ acres and is traversed by the Sevier River and there is typically 100+ head of cattle on the property during the summer season. Note that there are no grocery stores in Hatch and you should plan to bring at least some food with you. The nearest grocery store is in Panguitch (15 mins) and you will find a Walmart Supercenter in Cedar City (1 hour). Kanab also has a grocery store 1 hour south on Hwy 89\. There are convenience stores located in Hatch during the season and at Todd's Junction 15 minutes south of Hatch. There is no public transportation. You will need a car - a regular low-clearance sedan is sufficient to access the Bunkhouse itself. Loved the animals on the ranch; cattle, horses, wild turkey and deer! Location was great for Bryce and Red Canyons. It was relaxing to stay after a long day at Bryce Canyon NP. Would highly recommend to stay here and we would definitely stay again! Wish we had a few more nights to stay. An amazing view right from your balcony and throughout the property. Get to see farm animals and wildlife; such as deer and hare. Great central location for all activities. We loved staying here.
