Reviewer Comments: Location is awesome, the house not so much. Lots of cobwebs, food scraps such as sausage, wrappers, biscuits etc down cracks in lounge downstairs. Very mouldy & smelt stuffy especially downstairs. Shelves in kitchen dirty, food scraps in grill. Doors downstairs very difficult to open & close & curtains falling down on one sliding door. We always enjoy our time in Hat Head & have been visiting for over 30 years, I would have to say unfortunately the Castle is probably the dirtiest house we have stayed in.
