The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for 2 weeks in Dec 22 & 23, mainly because there was nothing else available in Hat Head at the time so had to rebook. Main bedroom advertised as a QUEEN, however, it is definately a DOUBLE. Mattresses in all bedrooms were very thin, uncomfortable and awful to sleep on. They NEED to be updated for the price you pay to stay there. Ironing board has been broken for 2 years in a row, still not replaced after first request. Upon arrival last year, the freezer stunk of fish and the shelf racks in freezer were all rusted and dirty. Had to clean them myself which was frustrating. Garbage bin inside unit was way too small. Needs to be replaced with larger bin. These may sound like trivial things but the owners should really be updating all mattresses with new ones. And main bedroom should not be advertised as a Queen especially if you are paying for what is advertised or change the description to reflect Double bed.
