Absolutely fantastic value for money. This is a £300 plus room per night. Lovely staff, beautiful location, property with great food and drinks. The rooms were like new and the standard of decor is top draw. This was a complete and very pleasant surprise at the end of a mini euro tour.

Beautifl Historic House
An overnight stop on the way to the alps. Set in its own grounds by the river, a very peaceful place. Good size bedroom Tea making facilities would have been appreciated.

Great countryside location next to the river. Extensive grounds. Nice BBQ evening meal with plenty of food. and good breakfast. Room in a large annex.

This overnight stay, one of many during our long road trip was the highlight of all our stays. As someone has already said it is a place you will never forget. The service is excellent as is the food. Rooms are clean, fresh and quiet and the surrounding countryside is not to be missed. I would highly recommend a stay here.

This is such a great hotel, the pictures don’t do it justice. The setting is beautiful, kayaking in the lake is great, the rooms are spacious and the food in the restaurant is very good. I would definitely go back!

Bon séjour mais pas de télé dans les chambres
J ai passé un très bon séjour chez vous Calme, repos, petit dejeuner copieux et excellent accueil. Toutefois, il serait bon qu' il y ait un téléviseur dans la chambre. Sachez que résider à l hotel ne revêt pas le même charme lorsque l on est en déplacement professionnel que dans le cadre de vacances ou de week-end. Je comprends tout à fait votre volonté de faire de votre lieu un havre de paix, mais il me paraît aussi normal que le client choisisse de regarder ou pas le télé. Nous sommes déjà suffisamment maternés à bien souvent mauvais escient par nos gouvernants et j' aimerai être libre de mes choix dans le cadre privé.

Mooi en eigentijds
Een heel mooie plek aan de Maas voor een weekendje weg. Geslaagde combinatie van een oud kasteel met moderne inrichting. Zowel de kamers als het restaurant en de bar zijn modern qua meubilair en aankleding met warme, felle kleuren. Dat vinden we zeer geslaagd. Het avondeten was heel fijn en lekker. Onze enige opmerking is dat het niet overal helemaal proper was: stof op de plinten, nachttafel, strepen op de witte muur… Dat is iets waar meer aandacht zou moeten aan gegeven worden. Dan wordt het een toplocatie.

Toplocatie, alles mooi op elkaar afgestemd. Heel retro jaren 50-60. Complimenten voor de inrichting en sfeer. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Enige was dat het ontbijt wat karig was maar verder wel oké. Kom wellicht nog eens terug.

Einfach richtig toll
Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Es liegt abseits an der Maas und es ist wunderbar ruhig. Man entschleunigt sofort. Das Anwesen ist sehr groß mit mehreren Gebäuden und sogar 2 Zelten! Man kann sich alles ansehen, es ist wie im Park. Liegen direkt am Wasser, Sportangebote und der hauseigene Gewürzgarten. Morhens hatten wir sogar Gäste gesehen, die im Fluss baden waren. Die Lounge abends war gut, gemütlich. Der Barkeeper sprach sehr gutes Englisch und ging auf Wünsche ein bzw erklärte auch gern die Biersorten. Es gibt wirklich nichts negatives. Im Gegenteil, wir werden gerne noch einmal länger kommen. Über das Essen können wir nichts sagen, da wir nicht gerne Menüesser sind. Preise scheinen angemessen.

Het is een heerlijk hotel buiten de stad en drukte. We zijn laat aangekomen en vroeg weer vertrokken dus hebben we niet veel van de omgeving en faciliteiten van het hotel kunnen mee maken. Maar de eigenaresse en de medewerkers zijn heel vriendelijk, kamers zijn schoon. Enige nadeel van het hotel is, de kamers zijn zeer gehorig.
