Not bad
Pleasant stay. Bed comfy but very old and coming apart at the seams. Shower not hot enough for my liking. Bad smell coming from toilet. Room was on the 4th floor with no lifts so wasn’t pleased lugging suitcase down 4 flights of stairs (it was bought up for us). Considering it’s a small B&B, I think the option of a full English would have been great. Although there was lots of choices for the continental breakfast. Overall it was an ok stay with good service.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you seemed to have had issues during your stay. We are sorry you were expecting a lift. Being a 200-year-old Regency building, we try to make the stairs very clear and the fact we don't have a lift. The same with our breakfast, we offer our continental buffet breakfast and display photos and information about that on our page. We are sorry for the other issues you found in your room and are looking into them.

I had never been to Brighton before and my daughter who visited in the summer recommended I go for a few days. So I booked the Brighton House for a 3 night stay after reading the excellent reviews and we were not disappointed. My friend and I arrived a bit earlier than the 2.00 pm check in we had already been told we could drop off our cases until the room was ready and were given a warm welcome by Ani. The hotel was situated very close to the beach front so we went for a walk until the room was ready. On return we were welcomed by Oliver who had already taken our bags to the room and over the duration of our stay was so helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. A hairdryer, ironing board, tea and coffee tray were provided. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice. We didn’t miss a cooked breakfast at all. Special mention for the boiled eggs and croissants. I would definitely return to this lovely gem of a hotel. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay. A lovely stay at Brighton House as a solo traveller. Breakfast was great and staff were super nice and friendly. The location was perfect easy access to the main areas of Brighton, and felt safe returning back in the late evenings. Would stay again 🙂

A very nice stay
We were in Brighton for a conference. The hotel was ideally placed. Buffet breakfasts were very good, beds comfortable, bathroom modern and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Stairs to our basement room were steep but manageable. We’d stay there again.

Good , clean room located v near to beach
Comfortable clean room with bathroom . Single room . Had iron , hair drier, fan available in room ,if required . Breakfast left outside room at 8am , and was very substantial- heated croissant , a roll , yoghurt with granola, apple and more . Hotel is very near to beach and shopping area., and a good base to explore .the town . Staff at hotel were v helpful and friendly.

Great find in Brighton
We stayed here for 3 nights. The place is well kept and brilliantly run. Check in was great and we were really welcomed. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delivered outside the door at 8am due to covid restrictions. We had no problem with this. The breakfast itself was lovely. We actually got too much so too some on our trips for snacking later. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. It within close proximity to everything. Would definitely recommend.

Great Hotel - 5 *
Absolutely fabulous. Hotel was easy to find and we were greeted upon arrival and booked in very quickly. Rooms were very clean and of a generous size. Bathrooms were squeaky clean too, being very spacious and modern. All staff were so helpful and friendly, they couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Breakfast (served in our room due to COVID) was FABULOUS, really really good - and 100% for being environmentally friendly packaged. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Great, friendly B&B in perfect location
I chose Brighton House because I knew Regency Square was well placed for the beachfront and the town centre. he B&B itself was perfect. I was met by a very friendly person at reception who was efficient and made the whole check in process very easy. The surroundings are lovely, exactly what you would hope for from a property on Regency Square, elegant and smart. The room was great, it was small as I was only staying in a single, but had everything you could want including a nice clean bathroom with shower. Would definitely recommend to friends staying in Brighton/Hove.Breakfast was lovely too!

A great find!
Brighton House was a great find! The breakfast was the best I have seen with a variety of cheeses, fruits and breads as well as cereals and soft boiled eggs. Not having a cooked breakfast on the menu was the right thing to do. Next time I stay I would prefer a room on floor 1 or 2.

Enjoyable &refreshing short getaway '.
Brighton House is an efficiently run guest house. Enjoyable &refreshing short getaway. Very friendly staff throughout my stay. Continental buffet breakfast, healthy choices for all tastes. Brighton House is within a few minitues walk to the promenade, minitues from famous royal pavilion and Brighton Museum, Solo musicians to be seen& heard frequently on its many meandering street's, busy night life. Choices of restaurants &cafes are dotted at every coner. Brighton station only 20mins away from this careful perserved Regency Square traditional town terrace house. The owners have thoughtful conserved the historical, architectural features, longside mordern facilities. Happy to recommended. Th-ank you!

The property was very comfortable. The furnishings throughout were very attractive. A lot of thought had gone into them and the pictures. The location was excellent though the open grassy space did seem to attract night-time visitors whose noise did disturb us in our bedroom at the front. The tea and coffee-making facilities were first class and there was a nice touch in cake or croissant being left out for guests to help themselves in the afternoon or evening. The shower cubicle in our room was small. The flow from the large fixed-head shower was not completely satisfactory.

Everything very clean, comfy bed and a really good selection of high quality breakfast items. A lovely house on 6 floors (no lift if you struggle with that amount of stairs). The room was a bit dated - pine furniture and the ensuite was tiny (not much room in the shower either and only a rainfall showerhead). There appear to be other larger rooms - 1 with a large balcony, so maybe we only paid for the smaller one. Good value for money - would stay here again
