"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bed were very clean however the curtains wouldn’t close completely and had holes in them. Everything in the room worked: heat, ac, lights and plenty of hot water with good pressure. All in all worth the price compared to much higher hotels in the area if you’re looking for a good night’s sleep and don’t care about the frills."

"This is an old (built in 1959) style 2 story motel where all of the rooms are accessible from outside. There are no hallways, and from what I saw, no elevators, but elevators are not necessary since this motel is built into a hillside. If your room is on the second floor you can park on the backside, which is on the second floor. If your room is on the front side on the second floor you just walk thru the passageway to the front side. Some people were backing into a parking space directly in front of the door to their room and carrying their luggage about 5 feet. No luggage cart needed. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a late ‘50’s vibe. The carpet and wallpaper were reproductions of late ‘50’s designs with a large piece of artwork featuring the rocket style taillights of a ‘59 Cadillac. The room was probably the cleanest hotel/motel room I’ve stayed in. There was a very nice tiled shower with glass enclosure. The bathroom vanity sink was outside of the shower and toilet room. The staff were very nice and helpful. Checking in and checking out was easy. The motel office is a separate building from the motel and in the morning they have coffee and granola bars available. The morning staff was very informative about the area and the history of the motel. They said the motel is locally owned and operated and the owners are very interested in the property and helped pick the materials and styles used in the remodeling which seems to have occurred in the past 4 years."
