We really enjoyed our stay at the Flagstaff Gardens Hotel. It was well placed to all the places we wanted to visit and others we discovered on the walking tour. The breakfast is good and we did eat dinner at the hotel. Our only criticism is that although the food was good at dinner, we were going to order dessert, but the main course took so long to arrive we decided we wouldn't bother.

Breakfast special was good value with a good selection.
Happy hour in the bar was also good value although bar staff lacked knowledge of simple drink requests for example a scotch and dry.

The room location was weird to say the least. You are not in the main gate. You drive to the street behind and the room is in a complex we drive a RAM so driving up the side to park out back was tight to say the least.
