This Rose House is right in the middle of the Ozark Mountains located in Compton, AR just minutes from the Buffalo National River.

This house has approximately 1600 square feet. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, and cookware. The back deck has a BBQ grill overlooking pasture with a beautiful view.
We will provide a drip coffee pot, drip coffee and creamer.

There is also a community pond just down from the house so bring your fishing poles!

Feels like home
Adorable, comfortable, spotless, well equipped, private, roomy, and more. We loved the sunsets from the back deck and the pastoral countryside. The garage was very appreciated when unloading during a rainstorm! I hope we can get back to enjoy the warm hospitality of Rhonda in this lovely property.

The property was clean, roomy, had garage for vehicle, lovely landscape , very well stocked with anything needed. Was quiet and close to the elk viewing area .The owner was prompt to reply and very pleasant . We will return to the property for sure .

Great Location in Buffalo River Region
Rose House is spacious and very comfortable. Although there were only the two of us, a family would have plenty to space with three bedrooms and two baths. An attached garage is another perk, as is the large kitchen. The best part, though, was the back deck overlooking pastures in a nicely landscaped yard with a pleasant breeze most of the time. It’s 20 minutes from Harrison and in the heart of Buffalo River countryside, which made it easy to see everything in the area. It’s right off Highway 43 so guests have the convenience of being on a paved road without actually facing it, so traffic isn’t a bother. Great spot!

We made last minute plans and needed to stay close to Ponca, AR where our daughter is working for the summer. The rose house was perfect for what we needed; easy to drive to Harrison for groceries and easy drive to the Buffalo river to swim for the day. Thanks!

What a beautiful place to stay! Our family had a wonderful time in Compton and surrounding area...loved this location ♥️ Hated we didn't get to float the Buffalo, because of the water levels, but we had fun in the river anyway. Lots to do and see close by, and Rhonda is so sweet! Brought us fresh zucchini from her garden that was wonderful with our pasta dinner one evening. The house is just perfect, so comfortable. We will stay there again! Thanks, Ms. Rhonda!

Compton VRBO Rental
Beautiful surroundings and great accommodations. The owner was fabulous! She responded quickly to any need or question we had. She had a beautiful bouquet of flowers grown in the garden awaiting us, along with coffee. Rural location was excellent, and closeness to nearby Harrison was just right. Excellent area if you want to kayak on the Buffalo River or if you just want the peace of the countryside. Definitely want to stay there again.

Great house for basing for Adventures!
Rhonda was great to help us and we loved the house! The fire pit was great, location was good for us to go hiking and biking everyday. Plenty of space for the kids, great layout. Really loved the house and plan to be back soon!
