Beautiful big trees surround the cabin, and you look out on the river. It is small but very well designed and thoughtfully laid out. Communication with Kairyn was great. Melanie met us at the property and showed us around, and immediately made us feel welcome. Had a nice paddle on the Miami river. We really enjoyed the outside space, the little veranda, hammocks, hottub, fire pit, and all the beautiful and well maintained gardens. The stay was very relaxing. We used the kayaks and although you can’t access the lake, you can kayak for hours down the river and it’s very pretty. I would definitely come back. The check in process was a little frustrating. It was self-contained, cozy, clean, and well equipped. The property is beautiful and perfectly located. It is a block from the beach and backs on to the Miami River. There are a couple of kayaks available for guests and, after days on the beach, we took evening paddles through the lily pads where herons fish, dragonflies flit, and a variety of birds dart in search of food. There's a tire swing and games for kids, hammocks, lots of spots to lounge and relax, and outdoor tables and chairs for dining. We will be back. ##### Jeff S.
