"Perfect!! View of the lake was breathtaking. With a wonderful deck and loads of room, close enough to the water to almost touch the waves, it provides the perfect place to unwind. The interior of the cottage, although old, provided warm and comfortable feeling. Very happy we chose this cottage."

"We came here to celebrate our anniversary and found it very peaceful and serene! The rocks on the shoreline are unlike the rocks I’ve seen before in Lake Michigan, and it was fascinating to look through them! The lighthouse museum is walking distance away from the quaint little cabin. And we visited the nearby Port Austin to make the 7 mile round trip kayak trip to Turnip Island, where my boyfriend proposed to meA few things in the cabin (toilet paper roll, curtains and curtain rods, etc.) were outdated and should be replaced with something sturdier. They kept falling down when we attempted to move the curtains and even use toilet paper. But those are very easy things to remediate & minor details in comparison with the benefits to the little cabin. We had internet connection, coffee, salt and pepper, dish soap, and garbage bags were provided. And the beds were comfortable! We used the grill and enjoyed watching the sunset from the lawn chairs and the sunrise from the screened in porch. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!"

"My sister got married in a very low key ceremony recently and we wanted to throw her and her husband a celebration with their closest friends and family. This was the perfect place for hosting a gathering! There was ample space for food prep and plenty of room for guests to hang out, play games, and enjoy the beautiful weather. Couldn’t have asked for a better location and the host was so helpful in answering any questions we had."

"Mrs. Clean lives here! Was pleasantly surprised that we had nothing to do but unpack our bags when we arrived. No street number at the road made it tricky to find, but what a hidden gem it is! Very quiet location and the screened porch was a favorite spot. Families note: the beach is large rocks and shale, not for building sand castles.. Enjoyed watching the birds, bunnies and deer!"
