"What a beautiful spot, we loved watching the whales and dolphins from the deck and even from the couch! House was fully equipped with everything we needed and more. We loved being on the quiet side of Kaikoura with the peninsula walk a few minutes away. Gail was very accomodating and only a phone call away. Fantastic 10/10"

"this house is an easy stroll to the town center and beach. it is a gorgeous dwelling that is tastefully decorated and aesthetically pleasing. property manager was very helpful and came by the place within minutes to help troubleshoot how to get the stove on. hope we get a chance to return in the future."

"Lovely place with easy access to the beach. Extremely quiet and dark, allowing for great stargazing. Plenty of room for our family to spread out. Friendly host who quickly explained everything and was available for questions via text. Would definitely return the next time we’re near Kaikoura. "

"We absolutely loved our stay here. Was so quiet, so many wild birds flying around us and the view was amazing. We highly recommend this superb, unique property and we will come back longer next time. Make sure you book ahead for dinner at Hapuku Kitchen to the Friday Supper Club. It was the best time ever."

"Kaikoura was wonderful, our favorite spot in our trip, thanks to a kayak trip surrounded by dolphins and some great food. Judy's house is perfectly located, 3-4 minutes from restaurants, grocery store and the town. She is very friendly. Downsides - internet was a little spotty and dryer doesn't work so well, but the home is still a bargain."

"The property was easy to find, views from deck awesome. Had lots of walks on the beach, meeting the friendly locals (seals). Didnt see any people. Train track right next store - added character to the house!!"

"Cozy cottage to stay and a host that is a delight to deal with. Judy was very helpful on telling us about the local areas to go to as well as tips on where to buy lobsters! Our little Archie(pooch) has made friends with Judy’s Charlie(yet another pooch). He didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay. Funny that! Thanks Judy"

"This is a cute little cottage set on a hill with great views. It was well appointed with a great bbq but as set away from town (in a good way) be sure to bring all your food with you. The cabin had seasonings and olive oil for cooking. The outdoor bath a highlight. I was a warm day and given the orientation the western sun had warmed up the cabin a bit but the aircon soon cooled it down."
