3 Bedroom 2 Bath Cabin nestled in the woods minutes from Mark Twain Lake.

Full accommodations with large kitchen, family room, laundry room, huge deck and outdoor fire pit (FREE wood supplied). Kitchen has all the amenities - crock pot, pots/pans, utensils, air fryer and gas BBQ items. Washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets. Paths through the woods for private hiking and bird watching. Outdoor games including corn hole and washers. Dish Network TV in living room. Board games and playing cards for night games or rainy days. Can accommodate 8 adults with pull out couch and has 2 roll out beds to sleep up to 2 extra children. It is nestled at the end of the street and has electric outside to charge boat batteries over night. Located on the Northside of Mark Twain Lake, but less than 15-30 minutes from any part of the lake by road. Great weekend getaway, fishing weekend, crafter retreat, family gatherings or a weekend long vacation at the lake.

We spent time under the covered deck as well as by the fire pit. The seclusion is just what we were looking for. The beds were comfortable and we felt at home.

The cabin was amazing! It’s perfect for a getaway for two or a small family trip. There are plenty of amenities and fun things to do right inside the cabin, and it’s close to hiking trails, sightseeing spots, and beaches when you want to get out for an afternoon!

Location was good. Appreciated the fact it had 2 bathrooms. Fridge was dirty but overall it worked perfectly for our lake weekend!

I wish we could give a 10 star review! This is our 4th stay at this pet friendly house! It’s is clean and well maintained. We come for time on the lake and love how close it is to the boat launch. The owner, Scott could not be any friendlier or accommodating. He goes out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and is very quick to respond to any requests or questions. We are getting ready to schedule several additional trips here for the 2026 boating season.

Nice, clean place far from the city, but internet!!! Close to the lake for fishing, boating and going to the beach. Beach not the greatest but was an experience for our 3 yr old grandson.

This place is very quiet & we slept so well. Nice updated home. Big ceiling fans that this old lady appreciated. Extremely clean, except beneath living room chairs. Great internet connection. Neat porch sitting. This is a nice place for a family or our couple's getaway. We would rent again.

Scott's property is so good. This is our 4th year staying here. We have never had any trouble staying here. This house is perfect for our friend group. I would highly recommend staying here. Its only 20 mins from indian creek marina where we always rent a boat from. There is also a boat ramp 7 mins away if you bring your own boat as well. There is plenty of parking.

Great Place to Stay

The house was just what I hoped it would be! It's at the end of a quiet street with lots of privacy. I love that pets are allowed! It's very close to a boat ramp and not far at all from Indian Creek Marina. Overall, it is very clean. I only gave it 4 stars for cleanliness because both bathroom sinks had hair on the vanity and in the drain. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Everything we expected and more

We and two friends stayed June 10-12 2024 and we were very pleased with everything. All amenities listed were provided and were clean and in good order. Overall inside and grounds cleanliness couldn't have been better. Plenty of parking. John our host who is very nearby but not right next to property was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful when we had a couple of questions about the area. Will be doing it again.

I love the quiet

Peace and quiet is what was needed and received. The cabin itself is nice - an accurate description is on the web site. No concerns at all with the property - clean and up to date. It is at the end of the road so the quiet was welcome. A few rainy days and there isn't a whole lot to do in north central Missouri unrelated to the lake, but that has nothing to do with the cabin. Not sure when I get back, but when I do this is where I would want to stay.

Quick fishing trip

We really liked this Cabin for our quick fishing trip! Isolated and private for our pets and our own comfort. If I had to pick one down fall it would be the gravel road dust on our boat and fishing equipment. Scott was prompt with his response to any questions, John welcomed us with open arms and his wife shared some garden produce all plus++ Wish the fishing had been better, hope to come back soon.

Awesome!

We stayed just 2 nights and even though it rained the entire 2nd day, we still had an awesome time. We hung out on the covered porch played games and watched the rain. They're is a small trail in the woods we walked behind house. It is the last house very secluded, we didn't have to worry as much about our small niece and she live riding her little push scooter on the deck. The house was well stocked other than I would suggest bringing grill utinsils we didn't find many and glad we brought ours. The price was great and would stay again.
