Spotless house, perfect location. Surf break in front of the house on many days was great for beginners, and super fun to watch the locals teach their very young kids how to surf. Dinners on the upstairs porch overlooking the bay were fantastic. The house is stocked better than any rental we have stayed in- every beach item you might possibly need including surf boards, and a kitchen that you can really cook in. If we come back to Hanalei Bay, we will stay here again! ##### Kim B. The immediate access to the beach through the backyard gate is priceless. Every beach amenity you could need is provided for endless beach fun. The layout is ideal for 3 couples but there is ample room for 4\. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining room and upper lanai provide 180 degree beach views.Although no AC, the ceiling fans and oscillating fans render the sleeping environment sufficiently cool for those who just don't like it hot (like me! I slept very well). Highest compliment I can give is to note that I look forward to staying there again. ##### Mike H. The home is outstanding. Beautiful and well maintained. Love the outdoor shower and the gardens. Walk out the back gate to volleyball, beach and nice little shore break. The location is the best! The house was perfect and we really enjoyed the surfboards, boogie boards and beach stuff that was included. The mid-stay clean was great. The host even left some welcome goodies (coffee, fruit, yogurt, granola, salami and cheese). Would 100% stay here again. ##### nicole d. It had surf boards and boogie boards, and all of the sand toys one could want. The gardens were lovely and the views of the sea were incredible. In the morning the sunrise was on one side of the lanai overlooking the bay, and in the evening the sunset was on the other. It was magical. The owners were very communicative and helpful. An absolutely dream vacation in a gorgeous setting. Home was even better than pictured online. Very clean with anything you could possibly need to have an amazing vacation. Fully stocked kitchen if you feel like making a gourmet meal. All the beach toys and equipment are available for use. This house is close to the cutest stores and yummy food. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and the town of Hanalei. Our only issue was noise. The access road to the parking lot in front of the house is gravel as well as the parking lot. It’s a popular spot so each trip is noticeable. It didn’t help that construction work was going on at the adjacent property with power tools and loud music. Windows need to be open due to lack of air conditioning. We still had an enjoyable trip but would not choose this location in the future. ##### Nancy B. We have stayed in a lot of places around the world and this property in particular will always have a special place in our heart. It is very clean, well maintained, well stocked and as always, it is an absolute pleasure to stay here. The property manager is very accommodating and helpful, you are definitely in good hands. This place is a true Gem on Kauai and we hope that you get a chance to enjoy it as much as we have. Your in a great spot to enjoy all the North Shore has to offer, including fun for the kids, swimming, surfing/body boarding, snorkeling, and hiking on some of the most beautiful beaches and trails on planet earth. It was great to sit on the second story lanai and watch the waves and surfers. We had a very relaxing week. New Year’s Eve itself was very festive with fireworks and bonfires all along the beach. Talia was very responsive and welcoming during the booking process and the stay. The town is within walking distance of the house. The stairs could be a bit challenging with some physical impairment because the kitchen and common area are on the second floor. The 2nd floor has the amazing views and is where you would generally want to spend time. Well stocked game closet was fun for us.
