"My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon from June 12-15. This was a very cute place. Very clean, and the staff was very friendly. Only minor complaint was the faucet to the bathroom sink was short, and it was a challenge washing your hands. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay, and we will book The Schooner Inn on our next trip to Virginia Beach. "

"The included breakfast was very good quality mostly prepackaged items, and was very satisfactory for the modern on-the-go family types. I think one thing that has a few folks in a tizzie is the way the listing describes this included breakfast. I would encourage the management to be more specific concerning what they offer for breakfast, and not “Free cooked-to-order breakfast each morning 7:00 AM–10:30 AM”, because it is not as described."

"The air conditioning was working whem we entered and the floors were still wet from a recent mopping. I'd recommend you dry the floors after mopping as i almost slipped and fell from the water on the floor. Also, throw out the blankets that have cigarette burns in them. Very trashy looking. They're cheap blankets, so easy to replce. "

"property was for the most part desirable, front desk was helpful. you say high to some of the staff they didn't acknowledge you or didn't understand the language. morning breakfast was good but some people got it without tickets,or just ran in,grabbed food and took off without having tickets."

"Really liked suite option with open area, bigger refrigerator, plunger in the bathroom & always enjoy balcony views. Glad for an elevator. Downfall was only had 3 towels & there were 4 of us, but we had beach towels too. The sofa wasn't particularly comfortable. All in all good place."
