The heart of The Deck House is its bright, open-concept living space, where floor-to-ceiling windows keep Black Lake in view from nearly every angle.

Whether you're preparing breakfast, sitting down for dinner, relaxing on the sectional, or playing a game together, the waterfront provides the backdrop.

The open layout connects the kitchen, dining, and living areas, making it especially well suited for families and larger groups who want to spend time together.

🍳 A Kitchen Made for Gathering

The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of space for preparing everything from a quick breakfast before heading onto the lake to a family dinner at the end of the day.

A large peninsula offers seating for six, while indoor and outdoor dining spaces provide additional room for group meals.

🔥 Room to Relax Together

After a day on Black Lake, settle into the oversized sectional in front of the fireplace, gather around the four-person game table, or enjoy a movie together on the 80-inch Smart TV.

The sectional also converts into a queen sleeper, providing additional sleeping space when needed.

🌅 Two Waterfront Decks

The Deck House gives you two different outdoor spaces for enjoying the waterfront.

Just outside the main living area, the spacious primary deck offers seating for eight along with a grill, hammock, and outdoor heater. Start the morning with coffee overlooking Black Lake, cook dinner outside, or settle in for an evening by the water.

The primary bedroom opens directly onto a second, newly built private deck overlooking the lake, creating a quieter outdoor space away from the main gathering area.

👑 Primary King Suite

The primary suite is designed to feel like a retreat of its own.

The spacious bedroom features a king bed, panoramic Black Lake views, a comfortable sitting area, dedicated work desk, and direct access to its own private waterfront deck.

The en suite bathroom includes a walk-in shower, single-person walk-in jetted tub, walk-in closet, and washer and dryer.

Please note that there is one step up from the main living area into the primary bedroom.

🛏️ Flexible Sleeping for Up to 11

Two additional bedrooms provide plenty of flexibility for families and groups.

The second bedroom features a queen bed.

The third bedroom features a queen-over-queen bunk bed with a Twin XL trundle, creating sleeping space for up to five guests in that room alone.

The Deck House includes several features intended to make stays more convenient for guests with different mobility needs.

An elevator provides access from the garage to the main level of the home, and both bathrooms include accessibility features. The shared bathroom includes a tiled walk-in shower with grab bars.

The home is not represented as fully ADA accessible. In particular, the primary bedroom requires one step up from the main living area. Guests with specific accessibility needs are encouraged to contact us before booking so we can help determine whether the home will be a comfortable fit.

🚤 Semi-Private Dock & Black Lake Access

The Deck House sits directly on Black Lake and includes access to a semi-private dock.

Bring your own boat and keep it conveniently nearby during your stay, head out for an early morning of fishing, or use the dock to access the lake with a kayak or paddleboard.

Don't have a boat? Back Bay Campground offers pontoon boats, fishing boats, kayaks, and paddleboards for rent, subject to availability, season, and weather. Advance reservations are recommended for boats.

The Deck House is located within Back Bay Campground, giving you the space and amenities of a large waterfront vacation home along with easy access to the activities and conveniences of the campground.

We also offer 24/7 vending for snacks and drinks as well as 24/7 bait and tackle vending—especially convenient when you're heading out to fish before the camp store opens.
