In the process of restoration we discovered old coins, whore house tokens, old newspapers ,wooden nickels and other artifacts. It left us with this beautiful place in downtown Hamilton, Montana over The Ponderosa Wine Bar and Bistro... we added a lovely 2nd floor deck with access to the roof top lounge with a fantastic view of the Bitter-root and Sapphire Mountains. Centrally located and an amazing place to stay. The apartment is in a building originally constructed in 1897, but the apartment has been wonderfully renovated while still keeping the original charm. The Scandia House was the perfect home away from home for 4 adults. In the heart of downtown Hamilton, all amenities are right there. Everything you need for your stay is included, and the two outside patios make for a lovely summer oasis to relax and take in the gorgeous views.
