They are full service. You don’t have to leave unless you want to. It’s beautiful and the view of the sunsets are gorgeous. The surroundings are lush with tropical plants and pathways to walk. The lagoon is nice for an ocean swim or snorkeling. And they rent the equipment on site too. The staff really makes an effort to take care of the guests. Dining options need more variety. The breakfast buffet offers everything you could want. 50$ is a lot for the meal because no one in our group is going to eat 50$ worth of food for breakfast. But you are enjoying it on a beautiful patio. With a view of palm trees and the ocean so it’s kinda worth it. The fruit trees and plants, we had planned on going back to the botanical gardens outside of Hilo but there was no need, everything was growing right there! Is the House a little dated yes and I was a little uncomfortable with no coverings on the windows but there truly is no one else around. The house was super clean and the AC kept it cool which is what my biggest issue in booking was! The Host Cemille and Derrick are absolutely amazing! Fresh fruit every time we saw them! So nice and helpful! We hope to be back very soon!
