"Spent a week there. Wifi was down all week, which was terrible for me who had planned to work online in evenings - this brings down my rating a lot. It is an old building - I did see 2 silverfishes in my room (one in shower and one in bedroom, both on the floor) - a good idea to hold your luggage in such a manner you dont bring them with you home. Otherwise very good - friendly serviceminded staff, interesting property nicely furnitured in old style, very good

"We recently stayed at Hotel Scandic in Halmstad, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The staff were exceptionally professional and friendly, especially the lady who checked us in — she was super welcoming and made us feel right at home. The service was great, but the room we stayed in could use a little renovation and updated furniture. On a positive note, the sauna and jacuzzi, which were already included in our stay, were very relaxing. We really enjoyed using them and highly recommend...
