"The only ice machine for the entire hotel was on the third floor and it was always out of ice. Disappointing."

"The faucet in the room was disconnected from the base from the countertop. Floor leading to the bathroom to the from the wash area was also very dirty and grimy. The lights around the bedroom bed were loose and had a short in them. I promise I will not stay at a Days Inn ever again."

"This room was spectacularly overpriced. I recognize that there was a lot going on in Lawrence this weekend. But, jacking up the rate to over $500 for a $60 motel room was not ok. There was spackle in the bathtub. The lamp socket was hanging off the lamp. The desk chair’s fake leather was peeling and the couch was threadbare. The mattress was as thin as an 80s fouton. Staff were lovely and kind. Room seemed clean despite the disrepair. If it had been $60, it would have been fine."
