Very nice apartment with a stunning view of the harbour. Walking distance to many restaurants and activities (once we knew that we didn't have to go to Halifax lol)We will look it up if we're ever that way again.

Great property with amazing views of the harbour!

Maurice & Lucy were great hosts. They're very welcoming and friendly. The property is fairly close to downtown halifax with amazing views of the Halifax harbour. We enjoyed our stay very much!

An amazing experience in Dartmouth/Halifax

Staying at this property was an amazing experience. The property was adorable with an incredible view of the harbor. The property owners were so welcoming and hospitable. When we return to Halifax we will definitely book with this property owner.

We gave a 5-star response to all the above categories, so it is a perfect summation of our stay: The apartment was private and well-equipped; The view of the harbor was fascinating and we enjoyed many evenings watching from the upper deck with a glass of wine; We were well situated to get easily around Dartmouth, Halifax, and beyond. Our hosts, Moe and Lucy, were friendly and provided service well beyond our expectations. We look forward to staying with them again. We consider them friends! .

The view of Halifax harbour was spectacular when the trains weren’t there. Easy access to Halifax and all highways . The unit is well equipped and clean the only down fall was the mattress was too small for the box spring.

Harbour View

This adorable little flat is located on the Dartmouth waterfront just a short walk from the ferry to Halifax and the McDonald Bridge if you are looking for an adventure it is a pedestrian friendly bridge that spans 1 mile and is about 15 minutes to walk. From there you can take the short walk along Barrington to Halifax's downtown core and a quick ferry ride back to Alderney Landing and back to the flat. The view from the front lower deck is spectacular and Lucy and Moe have a nice Bistro and BBQ set there for you to sit back and enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a gourmet seafood dish from Nova Scotia oysters, to lobster or their world famous Digby scallops. It's all you need at a very reasonable rate with 2 lovely hosts near by if you have any concerns. Highly recommend.

Great location

The apartment is in a great location with a beautiful view of the harbour and within a short walking distance to the ferry. The hosts are very nice. As for the unit itself, all the amenities of a home are there, including a washer and dryer. There isn't a lot of room for luggage in the bedroom, but it is workable. On the down side, the double bed is not very comfortable and the pillows are all stained. Even though the unit is a walk out in front, it is a basement. It is very humid and for this reason, you need to run the dehumidifier constantly.

A room with a view. The location was ideal and the view of the harbour from the deck was idyllic. I was in Halifax to move my daughter into her dorm. Starting and ending the day with this incredible view was perfect. Maurice and Lucy were warm, friendly and welcoming. The location felt incredibly safe for a solo female traveller. The bed was very comfortable.There are a couple very minor things that would have added to the stay-some hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and a Keurig coffee machine with some coffee pods would have been a nice touch.Check in and check out was seamless and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again!Thanks Maurice and Lucy.

I enjoyed the location, nice and quiet with a beautiful view of Halifax. You can leave the car parked and walk to the ferry terminal for a short ride into Halifax.

Perfect home away from home for a couple.

Great location for al the activities we planned in Dartmouth for the week we were there. Apartment was clean and not noisy. We enjoyed sitting on the outside deck to watch the boats. Easy access to the Halifax Ferry.
