"We were lucky we were the only ones there. It was so incredibly quiet. There is a community area. The cabin is nice but small. We didn't find the sofa bed comfortable but someone else might.. The double bed is right up against the wall so it is easier for one to use. It is decorated cute. It is clean. The lake is just steps away..we enjoyed ourselves"

"The Brule River cabin was wonderful! It's a cozy one room cabin that was clean and comfortable. Had it's own fire pit, with wood included set next to it. Hiking trails that were just beautiful! If we would've had a little more time, we would've tried fishing. Communication with the host through vrbo was quick and responsive . We had to find someplace to stay at the last minute, and ended up finding a "diamond in the rough". Will definitely be returning."

"This log home is amazing. It is funky and full of North Woods lore and charm. It probably isn't the best for little children, although we had our neices' little ones visit, and they had a blast. There are lots of beds, but not a lot of privacy due to the layout. Our multi-generational family loved it and found space for everyone. The location and view are top notch."

"Thank you to our hosts for sharing your home with us. The check in process was easy. The house was clean, but a little dusty/cob-webs in the bedroom lampshades, etc. (A Couple of us are very sensitive to dust and dander. Others may not have noticed.) we brought all our own linens just to make the process easier, but there are plenty here for guests to use. There are no window coverings that we know of. So, if you have small children that get up with the sun, keep that in mind. The kitchen has the essential dishes and appliances. It was a fine enough setup to eat and sleep. Yes, this is frontage property, BUT I was hoping there would be a view of the lake from the house. There are steps to the lake from the house BUT they are “earthen” steps and a bit steep. Our toddlers had a bit of trouble with them. We made use of the kayaks and row boat and appreciated them. We were able to catch several pan fish and blue gills right off the dock. The hosts were quick to answer questions and help resolve issues. We only used the main living areas upstairs and none of the spaces in the garage. So, I can’t comment on that! We also made use of the Eagle River city beach that is about 10 minutes from this property. It’s an ideal distance from town if you want to see local spots. All in all, our children enjoyed it and we are pleased."
