The location is really very ideal , covenient and close-2min walk, to Bus Stop #8 ( one of the common bus stop for excursion pick ups) and BSI Bus Terminal ( main bus terminal for airport transfers, excursions, etc..15 to 20min walk) It is easy to find for it is right in front of the Hallgrimskirkja church( tallst church, which can be seen anywhere from downtown Reyjkjavik/tourist area. Staff are very helpful and accomodating.The buffer breakfast is a good deal ( $25 CAD per person) considering eating breakfast anywhere in the area will cost way more.Unlimited cofee and tea for guest 24/7 is a very good perks. Just something to consider: Hotel does not have an elevator , showers might be too tight for some, and the church bells rings every hour ( I cannot remember upto what time in the evening). If you are all okay with these, I highly reccomend staying in Hotel Leifur Eiriksson

Absolutely great. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Very spacious, spotless clean, totally fell in love with the floors. The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband stated this was the best hotel he’s ever stayed it! Views are spectacular, breakfast every morning was amazing, bed was very comfortable, shower was great, and the storage was plentiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only issue is it was hard to find the entrance on a Sunday evening since the hotel is just the top floor of an office building and the sign is very small. We called and the staff greeted us in the parking lot to help us. Great experience, would highly recommend!
