great family wedding stay
My daughter was married at Look Park and we stayed here with our other adult kids and their spouses - 7 in total. Location was very convenient to Northampton. Owner did a great job taking what I'd describe as a typical mid-sized suburban split-level house and redoing the floors, the kitchen, the bathrooms and the deck and making it into a very nice rental. Having a kitchen, dining room and a living room for a group is so great, and we also saved $s compared to 4 separate hotels rooms each night - so a win on all counts. Owner was very communicative - it's clear she runs this as a business and not a hobby - which I see as a very big positive. Also, a long rail trail passes by about 100 yards away- very helpful for the morning runners in my family. Definitely recommend.

Perfect place for a UMass reunion
Small split foyer remodeled to feel spacious and roomy. Everything you could need for a short term rental - from deodorant and shampoo, to sugar and spices. We had a great time!!

Great location
This property is in a great location, the home was clean, and the host was very responsive. While we enjoyed our stay overall, we did find the cleaning list required for checkout to be excessive given the high cleaning and additional guest fees ($600 for two nights, with overall fees costing more than 40% of the total). Additionally, requirements to provide an electronic copy of my license, containing a photo and sensitive personal information, as well as the full names of all guests raised privacy and data storage concerns for me and my group. I and others in our group had previously stayed in many short-term rentals and had not been asked for these items, or to sign a separate lease. Once checked in, we requested to have two friends visit for a few hours (not overnight); while the host kindly approved, we were also required to provide their full names and address as well.

Very glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at our home and our awesome location in the Valley! As a professionally run vacation rental in MA we are required to know who is renting our home via rental agreement and ID verification to maintain licensure which is outlined prior to booking our home ( rental agreement is agreed to through the booking process prior to booking our home and outlined in our rental rules). Our management software securely stores this information for all guests in accordance with Mass General Laws on privacy and personally identifiable information. Any legal rental or hotel is required to maintain this information as well. It is very important to us that we are great community members and don't overload our home.

Great location and host
We stayed at Colleen’s house while we were visiting our sons at Amherst. It was conveniently located to Amherst and the surrounding area and the house was clean. Colleen was a great host. The only reason I gave it less than 5 stars is because there was a musty smell when we entered the house. I think had we stayed longer and had a chance to air the house out, it may have been better.

We have since replaced all rugs with hardwood flooring and composite hardwood flooring through out the house for a fresh, clean and low allergen home. We are constantly improving and updating our home for our guest's to enjoy a great stay!

Great location
Great location ! The house was spacious and clean. The host was great with communication and answering any questions we had in a timely manner. Only down side was the beds were not the greatest. Besides that, highly recommend if you need a place in that area.

UMass graduation weekend
House needed for son’s graduation. Location was excellent, which was best part (rental was very pricey but that was due to graduation weekend). Upstairs Bathroom does not have towel bars or anywhere at all to hang towels. Coffee maker missing key part. Property manager was responsive.

Great location
We came up to Massachusettes for my son's wedding. The house was in a great location, close to everything! Eight adults and a dog stayed and it was very comfortable. There were two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs, so we weren't on top of each other when we were getting ready for the wedding.

All in all a great stay

Wonderful Time in Hadley
The house is a lovely raised ranch in a country setting but near many stores and restaurants. The home is clean and pleasant. The owner was very helpful. We'd come back here.

Welcoming and comfortable
Everything we needed was waiting for us at this comfortable home. The photos and description were accurate and true, yet there were a few small good surprises as well. For example, the cupboard held more spices and seasonings than are usually available in a rental vacation home. The closets revealed extra blankets when the nights got cold. When I reached out to Colleen, she always answered quickly. We would definitely stay there again because it felt like home away from home. Thank you!

Great Stay
Just off of route 9, but feels like you are staying in the "country". Quiet and easy place to stay with access to Hadley, Amherst and Northampton. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Pioneer Valley stay
The house was perfectly clean. The location was amazing. Communication with the homeowner was extremely easy with a quick response, whenever I had a question. The keyless check in process was extremely easy to use. The local neighborhood and natural family run farms were absolutely amazing too. It was well worth having a large home as opposed to staying in a hotel. Plenty of room. All paper goods and kitchen cooking/ necessities, seasonings, etc available. Colleen emailed me local maps, which gave me help learning how to get around. The very close, Norwottuck Rail Trail, was perfect to walk on every morning, and I highly recommend renting/bringing your bikes. Wonderful Stay!

Great location, clean and easy...a few problems
This is a great location, near the bike path, which was the main draw for us. The property was clean and communication with Colleen was great. We had a few problems: Dishwasher did not drain; we reported it, and the suggestion for how to fix it did not work; the toaster sort of worked, but only on the bottom half of the toast; the screen door to the deck fell off when we tried to slide it open; we actually managed to fix it ourselves, with our knowledge as homeowners ourselves. Similarly, the kitchen drawers were broken - not on their tracks; we fixed one of them. Most people might not care. We just happened to, since we are homeowners ourselves. Most important to us was that there was no place to shelter our bikes, since the garage is not available as part of the rental. Collen suggested under the deck, but that was not feasible. Even providing tarps or something to keep them dry would have been nice. Also would be nice to have maps (esp. bike trail) of the area, and/or info about the area. Otherwise, we had a great time, and really enjoyed the area and the property.

Unfortunately, our two year old dishwasher stopped functioning fully and we have since replaced it with a brand new one! We have also had to remove all paper pamphlets, maps etc due to an abundance of caution in our cleaning protocols because of COVID-19. Our listing doesn’t include access to the garage as an amenity listed with our home and we don’t advertise storage. Location close to all things.Thoroughly Enjoyed this Rental.
The homeowner Colleen was great. She provided great insights, knew this home well and provided wonderful customer service. The house is a short bike ride or car ride from everything in the area. The back deck was great for early morning coffee and evening dinners. The beds are comfy, towels and sheets are all provided and the kitchen has every pot, pan and utensil we needed for our group to cook our faves.

Great choice and even better location. Well described!
The house is conveniently located with a nice layout for large groups. We had everything we needed. We stayed for a week and it was a great experience at this home even with 10 people. The host is very detailed and provides great instructions for everything. We accessed the house late at night to check-in after a long flight and it was easy to maneuver with spot lights and a digital keypad. The yard and home are well kept and the pride in ownership shines through. Thanks for a memorable vacation.

Fantastic Graduation Spot!
We had a fantastic stay for my daughters graduation weekend. CountrySide is a beautiful home with a perfect location to enjoy graduation festivities while avoiding the peak traffic. Our large family of 10 had plenty of space to comfortably spread out, relax in the backyard, grille and go for walks. It is stocked up and beyond advertised. All taken care of and in great shape. The owners are very attentive and quick to answer questions or provide recommendations even during your stay. Thank you we will be back for family weekends for our youngest in the Fall!

Pleasurable rental.

Delightful home in a nice neighborhood. We recommend!
Location was exactly what we were looking for and everything is as described. Very neat and tidy. The house had everything we needed when prepping a family dinner. It has a very homey feel and it is just down the street from all the local attractions. Live music venues/entertainment options galore, bike path just past the neighborhood and plenty of shopping. My husband & I will definitely stay here the next time we visit the Pioneer Valley and family. Many thanks to Colleen for allowing us to enjoy this wonderful home.

The atmosphere and vibe in this home is relaxation and comfort. The furniture and furnishings are newer. The location is better than we expected. Quiet yet close to the sights in the area. Used this home as a base for our college reunion. Spacious property. Size of rooms and bathrooms are ideal. Living room/kitchen/dining combo works great for large groups. Terrific Stay and Terrific Location! Doesn’t disappoint!
This is our third time staying at this home and working with the owner. She makes check-in and check-out a breeze. The place is always fully stocked and clean. It is a great location to conduct business or pleasure from in the Pioneer Valley. The linens are in like new shape and bedding is changed out based on the season. Furnishings are super comfortable which works for families, couples retreats or professional colleagues alike. We will be back in November for our next visit and very much looking forward to it!

The house neighborhood is absolutely lovely.
The house is exactly as described and pictured. CountrySide has a very comfortable floor plan with nice sized bedrooms and a lovely back porch to have your coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening before dinner (my favorite part of the house.) It is a beautifully done home with all that was promised to be fulfilled with to make our stay enjoyable...kitchen, bath, and coffee/tea. The decor is well executed. Updated and fresh! The home is also on a quiet street with a short easy walk to access the bike path, bus stop or go for a country stroll. I prefer to rent homes than stay in hotels. I will absolutely rent CountrySide again!

Terrific experience! Clean home with a perfect location.
We enjoyed our time with family here while we were visiting for a summer wedding near by. This home is perfectly situated between Northampton and minutes to Amherst. Lots of local eateries, stores and shopping venues close by. As others have explained Colleen is great to work with and very helpful. We were nervous renting for the first time through this site but are soooooooooo happy we came across this home and owner. Terrific experience! A few fun highlights we enjoyed! Rented bikes for the bike path that is 150 ft from the house ( give or take). Took a dip in the Connecticut river during our bike ride. Bought produce from the farm stand at the end of the street that was pretty much growing in a field next to this home. Relaxed on the back deck and grilled out!

Perfect Wedding party Lodging! Booked over a year and a half out with no problems!
We rented this for family to stay that were in our wedding party. The wedding was just down the street from this location. The house is set in a very attractively and situated lot. The interior and exterior are well cared for and all was perfect for our stay! We booked over a year and a half out with no problems. Colleen was very straight forward and nice to work with. The norwottuck rail trail is just a house and a field away. It has been repaved and has scenic bench seating areas as you progress down it. Thanks and we will back for our anniversaries! Thanks Colleen for a great stay! We came into town with a group of 10 friends from College. Everything at the house was ready for our stay and stocked up. The home and grounds are very clean. The location is perfect for a visit to the college, just up the street, and set in a lovely neighborhood. Highly recommend this home to others visiting the area!

Perfect Graduation Accomodations! Amazing Amherst College Spot!
We had a very enjoyable stay at Colleen’s nicely setup home. Well stocked and ready for your stay with prep done inside and out for immediate enjoyment . The interior was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The exterior was beautiful, carefully landscaped and ideal for our family graduation photos! Having two full bathrooms was convenient and eating meals/ spending time with family for this momentous occasion was easy in this home. We enjoyed the back deck and new large charcoal grille. The home has new comfortable bedding. Kitchen is stocked well for large groups and family cooking together. This home is located close to the college and allowed for the grandparents to go back to the house for a nap without missing out on things! The stairs were not all that difficult for my Dad with a cane. Everything in the home is in great shape with pictures accurately showing the newer condition. We walked the Norwottuck rail trail which is 4 minutes walk from the front door of the house and extends right into Amherst colleges campus if you are feeling adventurous. Thank you for a beautiful home to celebrate our daughters college graduation! We will definitely be back in the future for a stay while enjoying college and area events!

Stayed for work and everything was exactly as outlined. Location is ideal for access to UMass and Amherst College the two campuses we went between. The walkway and driveway are maintained well. Wonderful stay yet again!
We stay at CountrySide pretty regularly for Work. Everything is always perfectly maintained, very clean and Colleen is always easy to get a hold of beginning to end. Relaxing atmosphere to come back to and cook meals with coworkers. We have our own large space and having two full bathrooms works really well for getting out the door in the morning when some are morning people and some are not. Location is quite with plenty of parking. Bedding and furnishings are regularly updated. Kitchen is stocked with all the pans and plates etc you need. Thanks we will be back again in April!
