I am a frequent traveler (and I travel with my spouse & small children). I'm pretty particular about where we stay. I say that so that the reader has a sense of the context for this review. Having said that, there are several very nice things about this property: 1\. The location is awesome. Right in downtown Hackensack with access to local shops, restaurants, groceries. The bus line is steps from the door. 2\. There is a concierge who was helpful in letting us in and helping us understand the lay of the land. 3\. Dedicated parking lot across the street from the building. We never had a problem parking no matter how late we got back to the building. 4\. We had no problems w/ the wifi or watching the TVs (sometimes that can be a problem in certain rentals). 5\. We had a problem with the closets and the refrigerator & the owner got right on it. :) Some things to note: 1.The apartment is small (but we weren't cramped). 2.The cleaning crew could take a bit more TLC. In the kitchen the blender was not clean and in the bedroom we noticed cobwebs on one of the lamps. They also neglected to leave enough towels (which the owner promptly resolved). 3.There is limited (almost none) space to unpack clothes (we bought hangers). The space could use some hooks or racks for towels. 4.The washer/dryer is one machine & drying takes multiple cycles to feel completely dry. ##### April H.
