The staff could not be more helpful and were extremely supportive and knowledgeable about the local area. The room was spacious and comfortable with excellent facilities. "Beautiful property with gorgeous architectural details, artwork and furniture, but in need of upkeep and a good cleaning, especially the bathrooms. The sea view from the upstairs veranda is superb. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They prepared a delicious bbq fish dinner. Same day laundry service was an added bonus and the driver was very helpful. Both services and the dinner are extras but well worth it."

"WONDERFUL property and what a delightful experience that the owners and staff have created. The owners and Jay were so responsive and attentive. We appreciated the location which was off the beaten track but walking distance to the beach, minimarts, and a handful of excellent warungs. The pool was perfect - impeccably maintained and the perfect spot for lounging, reading, and enjoying the noises of the geckos and birds. We loved watching the bats swoop over the pool at sundown. The sunsets are incredible from the beach across the street. We cannot say enough great things about the staff - Mahli and Mahni are so gracious and caring, unobtrusive but ever-present if anything is needed. They kept the place spotless! Ahdung was kind and it was nice to know that he was around overnight though the area feels quite safe. The layout and amenities were perfect - comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, and we loved the indoor/outdoor feel of the great room. Kitchen was equipped well enough for basic cooking. Speaking of cooking, Jay set us up with a private chef, Wayan, who was so charming and made us a couple delicious Indonesian dinners. It was also nice to have Latif available for car service. Would highly recommend for couples and/or families - we truly enjoyed our 3 weeks at Villa Batu Sisi!"

"Very hapy with my one night stay at New Taman Sari Homestay ... Mo and family, staff all made me welcome. Lovely breakfast omelette in the morning very tasty. Upgrade to hot water and air conditioner in room 👌 Some may think room very basic. Walking distance to Ferry terminal 👍 Will stay again next time"
