Relaxing Getaway Spot
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house had everything we needed from the sitting area on the back deck to watch the sunset and the boats whizzing by on the bay. We brought our fishing boat with us and was able to launch right there. There is a view of the water from every room in the house. It is a convenient location with grocery stores and dining near by. We would definitely come back again.

Great place and location
The house was just as described in the listing. Property was very clean and well kept. It was very spacious for a three bedroom. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway! Wish we had better weather this week, but it was a good trip despite the rain and cold temps. Would rent this property again.

Quiet peaceful cul de sac
We spent 2 weeks and enjoyed our stay. Plenty of time to check out Gulfport/Biloxi and many miles of the gulf coastline. The home was comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with necessities. The large deck looking out on the bayou was a great place to sit, watch the birds, boaters, and read. All in all a very nice stay.

Wonderful House
We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this has been one of our favorites. The views from the bedrooms were amazing. The house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We were sad we had to leave early due to weather, but the owner was very kind and understanding. We hope to be back when the weather is warmer so we can take advantage of being on the water and do some fishing. We will definitely be staying here again.

Relaxing with beautiful view of yhe lake
We enjoyed the quiet,peaceful area. Wonderful restaurants are minutes away. We were able to bring our senior dog, and she enjoyed watching the fish jump on the lake!! Hopefully we can come back next spring..we had a wonderful time!!

Was not as described by reviews that are posted,house is Dated and pretty weathered and need of major repairs in my opinion " The titles are broken up.badley,the living ceilings are ready to fall in have had some kind of crappy repair job done on it ,the windows leak air can hear the wind blowing in around them,couldn't use the front door for what reasons im not sure,, the showers are for short people, the floors are way uneven so be hard for people not steady on your feet "" The house was clean ,just in need of some major updates " for the price we paid i have stayed in way nicer vrbo rentals """""

GREAT LOCATION
The house is great but needs some tweaking. Kitchen lighting was totally inadequate & was thankful I brought rechargeable light bulbs to illuminate so we could see what we were doing. Porch deck boards & dock need repair and/or replacing. Asked for the lobster pot, burner and gas, but when we went to boil shrimp, there was not enough gas and had to go off for some. Again, location was great and my son wants to come back.

Hi Joycelynn, The kitchen light has been replaced and the deck boards on the balcony have been fixed. We are getting ready to replace the whole dock but the boards that are still there have been secured. Thanks so much for your feedback, Leslie Smith

get way Anniversary trip
It was nice to get away from or ordinary day to day. The house was very cozy and clean. the kitchen stove was yucky and so were all the pans in the bottom drawer. The small bathroom was very hard to maneuver in and the toilet had some flushing problems. So, we didn't use it. But other than that, it was nice. the views were spectacular. the fishing was great too. My Husband had a blast out on the dock fishing. I would say that I might come back and stay there just for the fantastic atmosphere and sunset views.

Owner is very responsive and addresses any issues you might have very promptly. Beautiful views of the sunset. Nice and quiet location. The floors could use update as the tiles are cracked and even missing in some areas but this didn't bother our stay. Loved sitting out on the patio and enjoying the gorgeous views. Fan on patio was very useful to keep mosquitoes away. Would definitely stay here again.

The cabin is very nicely decorated, comfortable, waterfront view. We weren’t there for fishing or water activities, however the men had to throw a pole in every chance they had lol. For those not able to climb stairs, you must climb stairs to enter the cabin. We enjoyed our stay.

Spring Break Family Getaway
Loved the property! Views are amazing. We all enjoyed it. Weather wasn’t in our favor as it got really chilly. Boys were able to fish, but didn’t catch anything. Only complaint and it’s not even big is the showers are small and lighting in bathrooms isn’t great! Other than that we would definitely come again!

Perfect Quiet Location
We love this house. It was our 2nd time staying here. The back bay is so peaceful and beautiful. And bonus...we got to see the Christmas Boat Parade from the deck! We had no idea this was happening during our stay, but it was so nice to not have to fight traffic and loads of people to get to watch it. Yes, there are more luxurious places you can stay. (The tile floors have cracks, and the 2nd bathroom is very tight). No, this is not on the beach. But...if you stay on the beach...you will also be staying right beside the Railroad tracks! We originally booked this place last year because of it's peacefulness and away from the hubbub of the busy Beach Boulevard. We came back because we LOVED it!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is on a cul de sac and was extremely peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed being able to see the sunset from the porch, and the view was amazing from almost every room in the home. Close to beach and restaurants. Would definitely go back!

Pros were the setting is quiet and peaceful with wonderful sunsets and nature to observe from the deck. We saw eagles, egrets, ospreys and dolphins. The beds are extremely comfortable and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked, although I needed a griddle for pancakes ! A gas grill would be easier to use than the charcoal, The comfy couch accommodated all of us and my husband enjoyed the lazy boy. As mentioned previously, the house needs vents, baseboards, cupboards, etc, deep cleaned and dusted. Whatever you’re paying your housekeeper is to much! Improvements needed to lighting, deck boards and break wall. All in all, this rental suited our needs and we made new family memories to cherish forever. Thank you.

Quiet and convenient
My family and a friend's family visit Gulfport during the winter holidays. 4 adults, 4 young kids, and 3 dogs had a great time in this gorgeous house for 3 nights, 4 days. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac with a waterfront deck. It includes everything you need and we had a fun time cooking, bbq, and enjoying the lake using the water wheeler. It's also convenient to do some grocery shopping because a Walmart Neighborhood Market is within 4 min driving. Two things you may want to know. 1) The tank of the water heater is relatively small so you may not have enough hot water if more than 6 people want to take shower within 30 min. But the water heater is working fine so just wait for ~15 min for more hot water if you run out of it. 2) The pedal boat rudder was broken so steering control would not work. However, you can use the kayak paddles to control the direction. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back next time!

I picked this house because I knew it was on the back water and in a central location to most things we were doing while there. The views from the back deck were spectacular. We loved the location more than we even expected to. We will for sure book this place again.

Gulf Port Gem
House and property are as described, and is ideal for families. The view from the deck over looking the waterway is great, a good place to have your morning coffee and watch the sun rise. The dock has water for boat wash down after a day of fishing, and the ramp is fine for launching your boat. We launched our 26" boat at high tide with no problems. Communications with the owner was great, and we will stay again next year.

Could of been better
The fire pit isnt really a pit any more the ring is level with the ground. The second bathroom is very small you basically have to jump over a toilet to get out of the shower. Which is whatever just giving a heads up on that one I dont remember if there was a picture if the bathroom in the photos. The house is clean for the most part. But could use a deep clean blinds and fans were covered in dust windows very dirty. There were also cockroaches. It wasnt infested but they were there. I contacted the property manager to give them a heads and they said they had seen one and put roach motels out that they would spray. So maybe they did and the roaches are gone. A little disappointed that they knew there were roaches and didnt spray before hand and didnt apologize for the fact that there was roaches. Thankfully we didnt bring any home but i made sure to shake everything out before packing up and leaving.

Absolutely relaxing
This property has amazing views. You can relax on the balcony and watch the sunrise/sunset. It has large windows in the master bedroom and one of the guest rooms that allow you the same views. There are canoes and a paddle boat at the property, which I recommend taking them on a bayou excursion. The house was equipped with the needed utensils. The beds were comfortable, the whole family slept like baby. Again peaceful and relaxing. We will be back.

Great, hidden gem.
We stayed for 5 nights with my family of 5 and my parents. We loved a few things about the house, including the location, the set up, and the outdoor space. This place seems off the beaten path but takes only minutes to get to the beach! It is so quiet and serene! My husband and father loved fishing off the dock. We saw a gator the first day, and they caught lots of fish! We loved the balcony and the swings were a big hit for my kids! The house was set up nicely with a large family space for us to gather in the middle. A few disappointments, were the front stairs and wall around the dock being broken and having caution tape. I feel that it is a safety issue and those things need to be fixed. One reason we chose this place specifically was the hot tub, which we were not able to use. That would have given this 5 stars and I could overlook the rest of the things if that was available. Things were straightened and basics were done, but there were lots of dusty areas, things like walls and blinds made it feel like you didn't know what was actually clean. The appliances (stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer) were pretty outdated and could use a good cleaning. Closet doors were off the tracks, a kitchen chair was broken and I almost fell. The shower in one bathroom has no light, so I hung a flashlight in the shower. Again, I felt like those things didn't really hinder our trip, we enjoyed our stay very much, I just would have liked to know the condition a little better before walking in. All in all, we had so much fun here, the beds were clean and comfortable, we loved that there were games and puzzles and fishing poles for the kids to use, A great place for us to gather and spend a week doing nothing with our family.

Views are good, but house needs some love
When we pulled up to the house we were greeted by caution tape wrapped around a broken down front staircase. Views off the bedrooms are amazing, better if you open the dusty micro blinds that haven’t been cleaned. There were only 4 drinking glasses in the house, plenty of wine & high ball glasses. Tropical storm carried off trash can before we arrived, never got one replaced. We put trash bags at curb like directed only to have deaf dog next door come over & get into them so we had to keep cleaning that up. Trash people never picked them up, Leslie did come by one day & carry off for us. Chairs at kitchen table were small & one was a death trap so only seating for 5. There is a very big alligator in the lake, we watched him come up to the dock a couple of nights. House needs more dishes & glasses, we had to run dishwasher after every meal to have utensils, plates etc for next meal. They did have lots of towels, blankets & pillows.
