"The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful. Maintenance is required in the room assigned to me (the faucet in the tub could not be completely turned off once it was turned on). The breakfast buffet was enjoyable though the pancake machine is in need of cleaning and apparently a belt change as well. The pool was clean and pleasant but the pool towels provided are thin and small. Parking is plentiful and the location is convenient."

"Our stay at Kings Bay Lodge was wonderful! Chancie at Front Desk sent msg that our room was available for check in early which was perfect timing for us! Candy at Front Desk was also friendly and helpful during our stay! The property was a nostalgic old Florida motor lodge with an excellent location and beautiful water views! It was clean and well maintained inside and out and clearly renovated/updated after the hurricanes in ‘24. The room was spacious, clean, cool and smelled good right when you walked in. Good furniture and tastefully decorated. Clean Kitchette with all the basics and an ice cold full size fridge. Bed and lounge chairs were comfortable and it was pretty quiet during the week and so relaxing & peaceful. The natural springs pool was cool in many ways and the sunsets were amazing! It was a great location and walking distance or very close drive to many attractions or dining. We had a little issue with a few bugs (NOT bed bugs) first night but they must’ve been aware because a pest control company was there the next day to treat & it seemed to go away. We’re Floridians so we’re used to FL bugs so it wasn’t a deal breaker. I would much rather stay here than a boring chain hotel with no view or character any day! Absolutely loved it and we’re definitely planning to stay there again because it was so charming and all the good features won us over!!! ❤️⭐️😎"

"Good for the price and a few hours of sleep. Everything was clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and good pressure. The lady at check in was super nice and quick. The price was great. Only reason for 4 stars is a roach I encountered."

"The Birdhouse is a peaceful little house on the river! Very quiet and secluded, restaurants close by! We loved watching the birds and the boats go by! It's very dog friendly which we loved! Dana is a great host! We highly recommend this little gem of a place!"

"Great house! Loved the open layout of the kitchen, living, and dining room. Probably the most well-stocked home I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen has every utensil you could ever think of. They even have items for the family fur baby (toys, treats, waste bags). For someone who is a magnet for mosquitos, having the screened in lanai was heaven sent. It’s not often that I get to be outside in the summer and not get eaten alive. It was lovely."
