Our stay in the Fjords

"The cottage was great. Well equipped and clean. The host was very responsive and responded immediately when we had a minor issue. We used the hot tub and it was in excellent condition. The view from the deck was picture perfect. Sheep grazing nearby. The only issue was a steep incline to get from parking to the cottage which would be hard for some to navigate. It got quite slippery with some rain. I would stay again and recommend to those without mobility issues. "

"Prachtige omgeving, maar je moet wel van sportieve wandelingen houden. Je kunt een heel mooie boottrip maken over de Fjord naar Vik. Aardige verhuurders! Wel tanken voor dat je er naar toe rijdt! In het dorpje is om de dag de buurtsuper open."

"Owners are very nice and hospitable. Location has a beautiful view and both breakfast and dinner was fresh made by owners. Place is clean and rooms are taken care of although hotel is slightly dated. However the friendly owners make up for the outdated building and the atmosphere was friendly and comfortable."

"Great staff. Friendly and responsive! Rooms were very warm on the 3rd floor, so I had the heat off and an open window most of the week (in January!). The split mattresses were a but cumbersome and one side kept falling off the side of the bed....but they were comfortable. Breakfast was overall good but no fresh salmon (laks....which I love!) like other hotels, despite their location near the fjords. Overall, 9/10 experience. Thank you!!"

Cutest little spot next to the ferry

"We arrived in the rain and the people at this hotel made us feel as though we were coming home. It was like a port in a storm:) the room was basic, but had a little kitchen with a fridge, and a super comfy bed. The bathroom was a space saver, so a little water did get on the bathroom floor, but it was no big deal. The curtains were dark enough to block the light, and even though our room was facing the road, it was very quiet. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. There is coffee and tea available all the time. We would stay there again, especially because the young women and gentleman who took care of us were lovely and so welcoming. We recommend :)"
