The staff are amazing and super helpful. They helped us call drivers and gave us possible itineraries and recommendations for things to see during our stay. They helped us reserve a cruise and a show and made it so our travel was seamless through an unfamiliar area. They also give a free breakfast and will arrange with you if you need something very early to take with you on your journey. They arranged a day trip following the itinerary we requested, this was a great trip and good value. There is a nice walk along the river but otherwise the place is quite remote, needing a taxi to take you anywhere. There are a couple of shops selling drinks and a couple of restaurants in the commune type complex. The room we stayed in was in need of re-decoration. There was signs of damp and the room was quite dated. This hotel is in Lujia village which is not too far from Guilin city center. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. If you want to stay in peaceful place and get away from crowded and noisy city, this is the place for you. I love its decorations and style. Staffs are helpful and very nice. They made us feel we live in a family with them. We stayed for 2 nights but left quite early in the morning and missed the proper breakfast which we really want to try but staff woke up early and prepare a simple breakfast for us.
