Can go hiking up the mountain or biking along the river. Hotel will lend the bike for free. Warm and accommodating staff. Best to get a lake view room. Classic decor. Rooms are clean too. Three floors no elevator. While the hotel has a picturesque lakeside restaurant that serves Chinese and some Western food for lunch and dinner, there're a lack of shops and restaurants in the area. Guests will have to go to the city centre, which is about a 20-min car ride. Overall pleasant experience. Had suggested adding a fridge in the room and a convenience store. Its about a 20 RMB taxi ride to the downtown so not that bad. The room was clean and service great. The staff was extremely nice and helpful except their travel agent/concierge who tried to sell us on extra un-needed services. There are a ton of travel agents in town so we booked with one of them. They have a car service that will pick you up at the airport for 100 RMB which after checking is cheaper then didi and taxi. Our room was nice with a huge tub and amazing view. The only recommendation is to get one on the second level because the first is on a pathway. Not a deal breaker but wanted to note.
