Unfortunately that is where the story begins. Upon arrival they could not find the Expedia reservation, after an hour we were given no explanation, given our keys- no comps- no nothing. There is only centrally controlled air conditioning- you have a control in your room but as we learned they are for decoration. If you make enough noise, they will give you a fan. TV- shouldn't be a priority, but when it and the fan don't work at all after an 8 hour hike, a bit disappointing to say the least. Also No operable Wifi- with a VPN unable to load any sites. We checked out after one night. There is currently only one Five star in Yangshuo and this hotel is not Close. ##### Verified traveller
