We saw California quails hanging out in the little courtyard, and lots of hummingbirds. It was really nice having the dedicated off-street parking spot too. We had some plumbing issues (a major leak) in the kitchen and prop mgr was responsive and timely to address, though we were left with a mess to clean up. We'd definitely stay here again nevertheless. We came in March for a quick getaway for my husband’s bday. We brought our 2 year old and Doodle. Although the sun was out it was a bit chilly to sit outside but the camellia tree was stunning and the yoga room was a cute addition. We preferred just spending the day at Johnsons Beach with the kids as it was a little but safer for our kids. The kitchen was great for cooking family meals. The beds were comfortable too. We loved the outdoor space under the patio lights and spent a great deal of time in the hot tub after the cool air rolled in at night. An easy drive to the coast, Armstrong Woods and wine tasting. I would highly recommend booking this property. Just be aware that there is only 1 bathroom but a great outdoor shower available too. And there are only 2 bedrooms and a pullout sofa bed inside the main property. We had everything we needed, were comfortable and loved the quiet serene neighborhood setting in the woods near the river.
