Culture Blend is a spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bath Russian River vacation rental, offering accommodations for 14 guests. This home features a 3 bedroom main house, a separate master bedroom suite, 2 kitchens and a recreation/game room and spa. The main living space offers high ceilings, hardwood floors, a large open living/dining room with a 90" flat screen TV and a decorative fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen has a tiled breakfast bar. Several rooms feature glass doors leading to a long, large deck facing the river with outdoor dining and a gas grill. Each bedroom offers a comfortable King bed and a 32" flat screen TV. The separate suite has a living room with a sofa bed, a full kitchen and a private full bath. The suite bedroom faces the river and also has glass doors leading to the deck. The recreation room is located next to the garage and includes a pool table, foosball, air hockey, arcade basketball, ping pong and video games. Off the patio is a spa with a gazebo. Enjoy excellent access to the Russian River from this riverfront property. Just walk down the custom rock stairway to a path that leads down to a large beach. A kayak is included (available mid-June through mid-September only) for scenic rides along the river. Culture Blend shares this beautiful three-acre property with Contente, a similarly built vacation rental. Culture Blend is located in the heart of the Russian River Valley, just east of downtown Guerneville. This vacation rental is walking distance to two local breweries and a restaurant. It is also just a mile from Korbel winery and many other Russian River Valley wineries. Know Before You Book: Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at Culture Blend is 14\. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time. Parking: On-site parking is permitted for a maximum of 4 vehicles. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance. Bed Sizes: Main House: First bedroom: King bed; Second bedroom: King bed; Third bedroom: King bed; Living Room: 2 Extra Long Double European style sleeper sofas Suite: Suite bedroom: King bed; Suite living room: Double European style sleeper sofa Heat Source: Central heat. Rec/Game Room: The game room is an uninsulated space without central heating. There is a portable electric heater in the game room. A/C: The house does not have air conditioning. Being near the coast, the night time temps drop and just opening some windows is usually enough to cool the house. Docks & Boats: Docks and beaches are seasonal only and available from mid-June to mid-September providing the summer dams are in. Canoes, kayaks, paddleboats and rowboats that are provided in some of our homes are also available from mid-June to mid-September only. The river is usually too swift for boating in the winter and many docks and beaches are under water until late spring. Location: Culture Blend is located approximately 1.5 miles east of downtown Guerneville on River Road, a busy two-lane road that connects Guerneville to Highway 101\. Due to double wall construction, there is very little road noise inside the home, as well as on the back deck and lower lawn area.The driveway and front staircase face the road. All outdoor living areas are shielded from the road by the home, natural surroundings and a 10-foot high privacy fence (at the front of the property only). The neighborhood is a mix of residential and commercial. Neighbors include full-time residents, a local pub, a deli, a self-serve carwash and a gas station/mini mart. Be aware that though there is a visual privacy, the carwash can be heard when in use and noise from the pub may be heard. We have had very few mentions from guests about either of these establishements. Please contact our office if you have any questions about the proximity of the road or any other questions about the property. Members of our staff have stayed at this home, and loved it! Walk To: There are 2 bars, a restaurant and community pool within walking distance. (Stumptown Brewery and Tavern McHugh's are two doors down; the Rio Nido Roadhouse is less than a 10 minute walk. Both Stumptown and the Rio Nido Roadhouse have live music on a regular basis. The restaurant Tavern McHugh's is next to Stumptown.) Great Wine Country location! Korbel winery and vineyards are only 0.2 miles east. The walk to downtown Guerneville is over 1.5 miles but completely flat. Shared Yard: Culture Blend shares the lawn and river access with Contente, a similar 4 bedroom, 4 bath home that also sleeps 14 guests. Together, the homes make up the property known as The Enchanted Forest Estate. Please note that there is an annual event, the Russian River Beer Revival, that happens over the third weekend in August. This is a weekend event at the brewery immediately next door to Culture Blend. The event has live music, a BBQ cook-off, and a lot of people drinking beer. It will be loud on the Friday and Saturday of the event. The home is more spacious than it looks in the photos. That combined with the separate studio, gaming garage, easy access to the river, and hot tub room made it feel like there was always somewhere to relax or something to do. Check-in was also easy, everything was in good condition, and the location is close to a handful of walkable places. Great listing overall! ##### Kristen S. The main room with the kitchen and living room was actually larger than it looked in the photos. And it has a great table that could seat our whole family. The kitchen was well stocked for our group of 12\. There was some noise from the highway just outside and there was some loud noise in the house from the water pumps. Location on the river was nice, BBQ grill very good. Cons: We came for wine, food and football. We got two out of three. The Wireless was very sporadic. We had no connection three out of four days. We rebooted the system over ten times during our stay. We would leave around 9am and return after 5\. The wireless was not working most of the time. The TV in the living room is a mess. We were unable to watch football Saturday night, Sunday night and Monday night because the signal was poor and the picture in and out. Disappointing to say the least. We did as the manager said but to no avail. The tvs in the bedrooms were fine, just the big TV in the living room. The keys were worthless. I don’t know if anyone tried them, but they needed lots of jiggling to open the doors. We could not unlock the doors to the garage and had to use the opener to open the garage for use. We spent at least several minutes trying to open the suite door. We could not lock the back suite door when leaving so we had to leave it unlocked. Very frustrating to have keys that do not work. Please check them so the next occupants will not be as frustrated as we were. ##### Terry M.
