Great stay overall! The hotel is extremely well taken care of. Friendly and attentive staff, large clean rooms. The Peasant Movement Institute metro station is 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
Reliably very good international hotel in the city
It was a reliably very good international hotel in Guangzhou . Good views of the city from the rooms and a good breakfast. Also the hotel had a very nice Japanese restaurant. The hotel did not have much individual character - however it was certainly up to standard and I would recommend.
I’m very happy with my stay at this hotel . It was my first time in Guangzhou China and Caraline from the front desk was always so helpful, as well as this wonderful bell gentleman named Zero , everyone was happy and ready to help with a smile , I would love to come back just for the staff . They were amazing
Excellent customer experience with very helpful staff. Concierge (Perry) is one of the best in the business. Goes the extra mile and pulls out all the stops!
The hotel gives you cookies on entry, how can anyone dislike a hotel that gives you cookies? Overall, the hotel is clean and not far from the city centre. If it is too expensive for you to live in downtown but you want a nice hotel, definitely should consider this one.

The room.was nice and the facilities were good. Concierge staff were friendly.
Some staff were not very friendly. Didn't always feel welcome in the hotel, or Guangzhou in general. The most disappointing part was been woken up at 9:30pm to be told we owed more money. I think that could easily be addressed upon checkout.

My stay was flight layover. My thoughts are limited. The clerk was helpful, friendly and speedy with check in service. I really liked the warm cookie, it was a delicious treat to a long day.

Most of the time I go to Guangzhou I would stay at the Double Tree Hiltons because they are all so reliable. They always maintain an excellent standard.This is a very comfortable hotel to stay in and with a very reasonable price too.

The property is situated beside the CBD district. The noise was controlled and it is very accessible to the cruise - river area, and the night market. What I didn't like was the call to action of the supervising manager when my USD 100 was eaten by the forex machine inside the hotel premises whom the staff recommended when I asked for the nearest foreign exchange so I would be able to pay the taxi for my flight the next day as I ran out of Yuan.
I was asking for an airport shuttle to pay by credit card but they do not have any. This caused a little trouble and I was absolutely gutted about the duty manager's call to action. Up until now my USD 100 wasn't return. The Bank hasn't called me and the hotel did not even do anything. Where, in fact, the forex machine is inside their hotel premises. This is a major disappointment.
The service staff are helpful and go all the way out to help us navigate around Guangzhou. We have enjoyed our stay at the Hotel during our recent getaway.
