The neighborhood is nice. The breakfast is great. People who work there are very friendly, and respond very quickly to requests. There are free shuttles every hour to and from the airport. Very convenient. Once at the airport, the subway can go anywhere, including the next city Foshan. And the subway system is nice and clean and very inexpensive. If you are in a hurry, there is a DiDi car there to serve you. Prior to the stay we asked if we could have an early checkin as we arrived in the morning and left in the evening. No response, also after several reminder emails/messages. So I booked two nights to be sure. When we arrived at the airport, we could not find the shuttle bus from the airport. Instructions were very unclear. We were sent from one place to another but never found the bus. The telephone number did not work. I arrived at 2am from Vietnam, then finally arguing with the taxi driver to let me go because he said he waited 2 hours in line. Then reception couldn't find me after 40 mintues on the system... Then, the first room's shower didn't work The phone is next to the elevator outside, I told them. They said they would swap rooms. After another 30 mintues, someone finally arrives and gives me the new key Without even taking the second one. Then I settle into the second room, and that shower wasn't working either. I gave up trying to change rooms again, so I had to wash myself with the glasses given to drink water with the tap. After I finally get into bed it was 5am. I check out explaining the situation, they couldn't care less and still charged me for breakfast. Golf cart is available any time for transport between hotel lobby and resident apartments. There is a courtesy phone in hallway to call for pickup only Chinese speakers I guess. Overall, it is satisfactory but air planes taking off/landing on top of roof day and night, loudly.
