"The first and biggest problem is that the apartment smelt like a sewer and the smell became worse by the day. On top of that, it was so damp that my clothes were moist. The aircon didn’t work. This was a problem in March when it wasn’t even 15 degrees so must be hell in the summer. The TV didn’t work either. Very, very basic amenities and stupid things like an iron but no ironing board. "Beautiful 13th century property expertly restored. Although the property has many personal touches the overall feel and quality are top grade. Carlo and his daughter Gioia both live on the property and were perfect hosts. The property is a little remote but close to several great restaurants (La Grotta and Al Mulino just to mention two) and not far from the town of Sasso Marconi which has anything you may need.
