"The caravan was a lovely size for 4, was clean, comfortable and functional. We didn’t use any of the facilities on site as we were mostly out. The check in and check out was fluid considering the staff don’t speak much English. The area has nothing rally to do so you either need the car or the train to get out and do things. Kitchen currently lacking practical equipment (pans, utensils, salad bowl...) but friendly owners seem open to improvement suggestions. Garden is pretty but lacks privacy - there is another rental property on the same site, so garden doubles as their access and parking ! Apparently the owners are looking at changing this. Located in a rustic farming hamlet, no shops or businesses...

Our host Jacqueline was an absolute diamond, and what we both lacked in fluency in the native tongue of the other, was suitably accommodated via translation tools. La Mansarde is truly beautiful, very comfortable, within walking distance of fine restaurants and with the most brilliant host. I will stop in five other establishments across the duration of this trip, and nothing else will surpass La Mansarde."

"La Ferme de Tigny is a genuine, working farm concentrating on chickens. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. It is B&B, with an excellent breakfast. There is a kitchen available for guests to use for coffee or tea making along with a fridge with a freezer compartment as well as a microwave. The location is very rural, so shops are some way away but it is very tranquil and calm. we had just an overnight stop on our way back to Le Shuttle but it would be a good option for a stay of a few days to explore the area. We would certainly consider doing this for a future trip."
