"We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."

I arrived around 4.30pm to find no one around and had yet to receive my email with lock key code, I know arrival was stated 5pm but I would expect to receive the code day before. "We were a group of 8, and the house was more than adequate in size and facilities to accommodate us. The indoor pool and the games room were excellent added features. An well-appointed kitchen meant we could cook several of our meals in the house. The closeness to all amenities (restaurants, bars, cafes, butcher, supermarket, boulangeries, etc) made everything easy to access. Also, a great Saturday morning market for excellent fresh produce.
