"Blooming jasmine and roses greeted us as we entered the gate, along with Tally the cat. That is a great beginning right there! We loved the multi deck back yard, each level had something to be enjoyed by all. The cottage is very clean and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. My husband wasted no time to see what he could catch right off of the dock. A beautiful nice size blue catfish within the first hour, he ended up with 4 catfish and 2 croppie during our stay. "Very nice place and a hostess who's about as helpful and nice as they come. We stayed for 2 weeks. Found it a bit cramped for 2 adults and 2 cocker spaniels for that extended period. We knew it was small to beigin with so that's our fault. It would've been fine for shorter periods. Cabin and grounds were immaculate. We could've eaten off the floor. Great boat docking space. Yard is large so if you have a dog you can take them out to play. Cabin and host easily deserve 5 star rating. We'd stay...

"The house was really nice and cozy. The door was a bit of a pain but nothing to make me take away any stars. The neighborhood is so quiet and I loved sitting at the picnic table listening to the boats. We couldn't figure out how to get the satellite TV to work but that is alright we enioyed having family time. Will stay again."

"Grew up in Tallahassee and had no idea that Talquin is a combination of Tallahassee and Quincy. This house was perfect for our group, enjoyed the dock and beautiful setting. Owners checked in to see how we were doing. Pool table was great and a nice gas grill, the kitchen was also nice and we made some great meals. Look forward to next year!"
