Would not stay again. Dirty. Def people who rent it by the hour stay there. Not up to code

The stay was good except housekeeping entered my room while I was out even with the do not disturb card on my door. Apparently they have a policy in place that housekeeping comes in every 3 days. The day they entered was the 2nd day. While I can appreciate the replacement towels and garbage taken out, they never should have come in my room. This policy was told to me after the fact and by the manager, not the staff checking us in. I ended up throwing out my toothbrush because you never know with people, even if management says they are great. I’m definitely not okay with how this was handled. Besides this incident, everything else was good.

I cannot recommend this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights. Things began poorly. The day before our arrival we received a call that the hotel was overbooked and they wanted to move us for our first night and then bring us back to the hotel for nights 2 and 3. I said no. I couldn't be out of lodging for 4 plus hours between check out and check in. Housekeeping was minimal at best. On day 1 our towels were refreshed but the bed was not made. I don't mean fresh sheets, simply not made. Three calls later, including with the hotel manager, nothing changed. On day 2, at 5pm the towels had not even been refreshed. Our room rate included breakfast, but that included only one option - the Davenport - eggs, hash browns, choice of breakfast meat, choice of toast. No substitutions allowed, even if the substitution was cheaper than the Davenport. On day 1, we were not charged extra for our coffee. On day 2, I opted to order from the menu; my spouse ordered the Davenport. Our bill appeared to include charges for everything. When questioned, the server turned the interaction into a very public explanation that the Davenport charge was credited. When asked why we were paying for the beverages as we didn't the day before, the very public, overly loud explanation was the beverages weren't free and hadn't been for 14 years but she would remove all charges to make us happy. We felt we were being publicly chastised for asking questions. All in all, it was an unpleasant stay. We won't stay again.
