My partner and I stayed at this hotel On September 2nd through the 3rd. I prepaid for the stay through Hotels.com and knew that I would have to put a card on file for incidentals. My card declined twice when I knew there was money in my account, my partner uses his card, and it goes through. The hotel claims that the transaction wasn't approved but my bank statements show that the charge of $50 went through. It is now the 12th and neither one of us have received the return of the $50 charge on our cards. I've been going back and forth with the hotel for two days now and they said it is out of their hands at this point. They have been caught in several lies regarding our stay regardless of proof of charges being given upon their request. I feel like this wasn't an accident and they had to lie through the conversation because they were caught. Again, hotel was clean, and we were comfortable, but I wouldn't book with this hotel again off the fact that we were practically stolen from and are out of $100 even though we left the room spotless and with a $0 balance at check out. It's not about the money, it's about principle and integrity.
