We loved walking on the frozen lake and playing in the beautiful snow. We were in town for a wedding, and the host was kind enough to accommodate a last-minute late checkout so we could relax and enjoy the space a little longer before heading home.I truly can’t say enough good things about this place. We can’t wait to come back and experience the lake again in warmer weather!" We had to reschedule some other commitments. Being a distracted, I accidentally booked the wrong date for our 1-night stay. When we checked in, they credited what we paid for the night we booked (and no-showed) to the night we actually wanted. They did not have to do that, but we are deeply appreciative. We would definitely stay here again but, of course, be more careful to book the correct dates for our stay.
