This is the perfect private getaway that has anything you may need. The beach is pristine, the coziness is spot on, and the Alcons Brew Haus (just up the road) made our experience one to remember. We will be back here, what a gem right on Lake Huron!
Outstanding location right on the beach. Clean, very few people, no public access, clean sand, clean water. It’s like a North Carolina beach without the salt and the traffic. We will definitely be back. And our dog loved the beach and the cabin. A Experience!
This was the 5th summer we have stayed at this property so obviously we absolutely love it! The beach is stunning, location is great, everything you could possibly need or want. Tim is great if you need anything. We hope to be able to stay here for many more summers.
We all had a great stay. My dogs loved the lake and my son had a fun time flying his kite on the beach. Definitely would stay here again. It's very convenient to go into Oscoda for shopping.
Loved this property and the host Tim and Sandy are delightful. Immaculate cottage, great location. We had a fantastic time and look to return again next year!
We loved the views, access to the sandy shores of Lake Huron, and the hot tub. Our golden especially loved the water. The pictures don’t do the cottage justice. It is beautiful and a very comfortable stay. Thanks for sharing this little slice of heaven!
This cottage was exactly what the family needed just a wonderful place to take your family and relax. The privacy was great the cottage was beautiful inside and out and lake was gorgeous and host was excellent will most likely come back for another stay for sure!!!!!!
This was a lovely stay by my partner and two dogs. We celebrated the new year with lots of naps, reading and relaxation as well as walks on the beach. Great place for a couple to get away and have a great view and beautiful sunrises but still have a town nearby. Responsive owners and tidy home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is quiet, the lake was beautiful, the furniture and the King bed were comfortable. The patio was so nice to sit and enjoy the lake. Hubby loved the hot tub although he struggled with the settings a bit. The amount of towels available was amazing. We hope to return!
Perfect location quiet million dollar view. Host checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Best equipped rental ever. It was a real relaxed vacation. Will do it again.
This is our seventh stay at Sandy and Tim's cottage. We just love it there. Everything you need, a great beach, comfy beds, the best view and great hosts.. We missed it the moment we left. Hopefully, we will be back next year. ❤
This one bedroom cabin has all you need for a weekend or week long stay. The king bed is comfortable and spacious. There is also a pull out sofa in one of the living rooms that offers privacy for an additional couple and a bunk house. Firewood is provided and the beach area is pristine and quiet. We (40ish couple with dogs) thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already booked for next summer.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage on the beach. What a gem and prompt communication by host. Our Labrador retriever loved the beach for swimming and chasing butterflies and the eagle resting in a nearby tree was a bonus! We loved walking the beach at sunrise and sunset - spectacular pics. A very relaxed time and will surely return!
Beautiful site nestled on the shore of Lake Huron. Private but easily accessible. The cottage is cozy, with lovely knotty pine panneling. It has great natural light with large windows and a skylight over the dining table. It is well cared for and clean, with a fully equiped kitchen. The oweners live nearby and were responsive and informative.
We keep returning to this cottage because it has everything we need to make our vacation great. It is close to town, golf courses and shopping. The house is always clean and well stocked with towels, blankets, and kitchen supplies. The beach is beautiful and private. We will keep coming back. If only it had another bedroom………..
Such a charming lake house! My husband & I went for a quick getaway and this was one of the best VRBO's we've stayed in. The location was perfect..not far from town, right on beautiful Lake Huron, and yet it felt like you were miles away from it all! It was heaven!!! The property is nicely surrounded by trees on each side so there were no neighbors in site. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We loved the charm of all the original woodwork of this home. The beach area was perfect and we enjoyed 80 degree weather one day of our stay in October... We only wish we could've stayed longer !! Also, hosts were excellent and I highly recommend. Our pet, Archie, loved the beach and chasing the squirrels & birds in the yard!!
Our plan was to spend as much time outdoors as possible, and we were not disappointed! We spent all our time on the deck, around the fire pit, and on the beach. Our dog loved playing ball in the water and taking long walks on the lakeshore. When it rained, we enjoyed the great view of the lake from the tv room. Love this part of Michigan!
The pictures are accurate. This property is very close to a sandy, clean beach and Lake Huron. There are houses on each side, but you cannot see the one because there are woods and the other you can see a bit, but everything is quiet and you feel like you have the beach and lake to yourself! Amazing. The cottage was clean and charming.
This is our sixth year staying in this beautiful home. You can feel the love and care that Tim and Sandy lavish on this bit of heaven. This home has everything you need for a peaceful vacation. Including foxes, bald eagles and chipmunks for company. God willing, we will be back next year.
