There were plenty of supplies in the house as well, although it would've been good if there'd been some charcoal/firefighters for the BBQ and some olive oil. Only other thing to add is that there were a lot of cats in the close vicinity; wasn't a problem for us because we love cats, but some people may not. Also, one of them (a big white male) didn't look to be in the best health. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in the lounge, when breakfast, afternoon tea and snacks/drinks served in the evening. A relaxed atmosphere with attentive service. The room was recently refurbished, an excellent size and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the turn down service a classy touch that has been mostly forgotten in modern hotels. The only gripe is an Intercontinental hotels policy that restricts TV volume to a barely audible '20' that required subtitles to understand what was being said. There appears no way to change that but when the air conditioning unit is on, it's inaudible. A very enjoyable stay and a hotel I'd return to.
