"Wonderful, helpful owners/staff. Breakfast was delicious! The area has cafes, restaurants and bars all within easy walking distance. There is also a supermarket within a few minutes walk. If you want to explore further afield, you will need a car or expect to pay for taxis, as the area isn't served well with public transport (In May at least)."

"This is an excellent place to stay in Calimera. The property is perfectly located in the center, steps away from the old town square where you’ll find great cafes, pastry shops and restaurants. Necessities like the supermarket, bank, pharmacy are all a short walk away as well. The property itself is very clean, quiet and well-managed. It’s the perfect place to rest in between day trips. "Overall, we had a good stay at Conchiglia Azzurra. The rooms are fairly modern, clean, spacious, and well maintained, making for a pretty comfortable stay. The staff were always courteous and helpful whenever we needed assistance. One suggestion that would significantly improve the guest experience would be to include beach access amenities with the room. Offering each room one beach umbrella and two loungers for the duration of the stay—similar to what Le Dune provides—would be a welcome addition. When you’re already paying a premium to stay at the hotel, it’s a bit disappointing to have to pay extra each day for an umbrella and loungers. Including these as part of the room rate would add great value and make the overall experience even better. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Conchiglia Azzurra, especially if this small improvement were considered."
