Great place, scenic lake views old castle with modern twists amazing pool and water slide for kids, excellent gym, wonderful staff at hotel. Lovely breakfast. Had decent plant based options. Concierge, front desk staff and restaurant waitstaff all excellent and respectful and genuine. High Tea with scones etc was a great experience

Relaxing and has something for everyone!
We enjoyed using the facilities! The gym had excellent equipment, the pool area was relaxing and fun. The service was a bit slow sometimes especially in the upstairs bar. The cinema is a great idea but the popcorn wasn’t very edible. It was a very nice time of year to stay, there were reindeers and elves at the front.

Beautiful and well managed special place overlooking Loch Lamond. We had very nice spacious rooms overlooking the Loch. We waited too late to make a dinner reservation so we went next door to Duck Bay Marina for dinner which was also excellent. I highly recommend the Cameron house.

Cameron House was exactly the experience we wished for. Right on the Loch and so beautiful. It is luxurious and the staff were all helpful. Nothing too much trouble for anyone. Highly recommend Cameron House.

The staff from valet parking to check in to restaurant personnel and housekeeping could not have been more professional and helpful in every way possible. Really loved our experience at this five-star hotel.

Last night in Scotland
The last night in Scotland before heading back to USA we decided to splurge and stay at Cameron House; no regrets! Breakfast was sumptuous, dinner at Boathouse was excellent, hotel is superb, views are to die for and the room was very comfortable and quiet. Everyone was very friendly - Glad we decided to end our wonderful trip to Scotland here

This is a great hotel in a fantastic location. I have stayed several times now and really enjoyed my stays at the hotel. There is one improvement that that hotel could do and that’s have usb ports in the rooms this is a minor issue as overall the hotel is excellent.

This castle is so beautiful, registration was easy, Men running around in kilts was amazing, afternoon tea, the bistro for dinner, but the breakfast!!!!! The breakfast is fabulous, I love European breakfasts they now how to do it correctly.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning setting, excellent customer service, great variety of activities, food and drink. From the valet parking by the friendliest team (special mention to Douglas!), Jill at reception and all the staff we met, we felt truly welcomed and comfortable. If you aren't booked on to all the activities, you can make up a full day touring the grounds, enjoying the leisure facilities and the various bars and restaurants like we did. Whilst we didn't do any formal dining in the restaurant, the Boat House was an excellent choice for casual food on the loch followed by room service later on in the evening (burgers were great). Thanks again to the team for our birthday cocktails that we enjoyed in the Scots bar. Breakfast was amazing with so many choices. Genuinely can't wait to come back!

Had an absolutely beautiful 4 days stay here over the bank holiday made even more special by the friendliness and standard of service provided by the staff and in particular by the doormen/valets. The food in the restaurants was fantastic and it would be wrong to single any one restaurant out as they were all good,

Disappointment
Extremely over priced , I have stayed in many 5 star hotels but this one was a disappointment. Very basic bathroom and amenities. Service in the whisky bar was extremely slow even though they weren’t busy . View was good but would not stay again

The front door and desk staff were exceptional. Our service for tea was also wonderful. But our experience in the restaurants was poor. In one restaurant we sat fown and though we were 2 of only 8 people there with 5 staff, no one acknowledged us or attended to us. We waited for 15 minutes and left, walking right passed staff who didnt even seem to see us. We went back for drinks the next night and no one came to serve us. We went up to staff to ask for drinks and then they never came. The Tavern also had poor service, forgetting to bring us drinks. The food was mediocre. Our room keys were deactivated twice because of the hotels computer system and no one apologized. We waited over an hour in the Boathouse for our food and were told the server forgot to put our order in. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL and the front desk staff were overall very nice. The pool is also nice. We were a bit disappointed with the restaurant service given this is a 5 star hotel. I expected better service. This was 3-4 star service at best
