"We were very disappointed in the condition/cleanliness of room 1006. Upon arrival, we killed a huge spider next to the toilet. We would later find food on the carpet in the living room, dirt on the floor, dust everywhere, a dirty coffee pot, chipped paint, and what we believe to be animal droppings behind the sofa. We never complain about hotel rooms…ever! This morning a huge roach crawled out from behind the toilet. We are currently checking our bags and clothes to make sure we don’t transport the hotel’s bugs home with us. There is absolutely no excuse for this once beautiful hotel to be in the condition it is! Jack, the front desk manager apologized and eventually took the charge for the room off our bill, but we will not return."
